Rad Orthodontics - Bethesda

I just got my braces off this past Monday so this review encompasses my experience from the past 18 months. For the past year and a half, I have come in about every 6 weeks and I honestly don’t think I have had any negative experiences to note. All of the staff have been nothing but friendly and professional, especially the front desk staff. The techs and orthodontists (I have been seen by both Dr. Rad and Dr. Le) are always prepared. Either their memory is impeccable or their documentation is very thorough because I always feel like I am coming in where we left off. They also have very convenient locations for anyone living in the Rockville/Bethesda area and I love that even though I started my treatment at one location, the move to another location was pretty seamless. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but once all of my retainer follow ups are complete, I think I’ll actually miss going into the office. Overall, I highly recommend this practice. The orthodontists, techs, and other staff are top tier. If you are considering this practice for your child’s orthodontic needs, I can attest that they are also good with children just by witnessing some of the interactions around me during my appointments. Finally, just wanted to note that my appointments were always pretty quick after getting my braces on but they didn’t feel rushed. I was almost always seen on time as well.

My son has been going to Rad Orthodontics for over 5 years now. Dr. Rad and his staff did a great job with fixing his underbite. They are always happy, polite and friendly. I am very happy with everything. Yesterday, we went to see Dr. Rad to see if my son is ready for Invisalign. Lam was very thorough and took a great scan of my son’s teeth. After Dr. Rad checked out my son’s teeth, he did not recommend Invisalign as my son’s jaw is still changing. I appreciate that he prefers us to wait and not rush to start treatment right away when it is not needed.

First call first impression . I had an uncomfortable experience with the front desk staff. I couldn’t hear the receptionist clearly and was trying to understand what she was saying, but she suddenly raised her voice at me. I understand that offices can be busy, but I believe communication with patients should always remain respectful and calm. I hope the office can improve this aspect of patient interaction. Please teach the front desk staff receive some training on how to communicate with patients respectfully.thank you

Professionalism, compassionate, cleanliness and a friendly atmosphere are a few choice words that I can confidently use to describe Rad Orthodontics and the staff. Every visit we have had we are updated on plans, process, procedures by our Dentist and the assistants. My daughter had her braces removed and the result is amazing. Thank you Rad Orthodontics. I highly recommend this establishment without reservations.

Love Love Love Dr. Rad and staff! We have 2 sets of braces and one Invisalign. Quick service, we never have to wait! Very knowledgeable and always available to speak to us! I highly recommend Rad Orthodontics!
