GLO Orthodontics

The staff are nice and some of the best orthodontists people i had ever met but...when I got my braces done they were in such a rush. I get it you're busy and stuff but one of the staff hit one of their tools against my tooth and it chipped and still hurts to this day. I once broke a bracket and had to go back the same day, when the lady worked on it, she was trying so hard to get me out of there as quickly as possible. She didn't even do a good job of putting it on. I still am going there but come on people, be more careful while working on your patients teeth..

Had to take my teen sons n for evaluations, which may include jaw surgery and/or braces for them. The Dr patiently took us through the process, showing pictures and xrays to help connect the dots. She assuaged my fears when the topic of surgery came up. I appreciate that they want to wait and confirm the boys are finished growing before taking next steps. They were informative, patient and kind.

For the most part everything was okay until it came to the payments which is pretty important since ortho is so expensive as is. I am actually a dental assistant and I think the situation is pretty crazy. I Actually got in the mail an invoice showing that my payments were complete and the statement said NOTHING AT ALL About the fact that the insurance balance was not complete yet. I have had dental insurance and added ortho coverage for the two years my daughter needed it. Since I got that statement WITH A ZERO BALANCE when my enrollment for my insurance came back around I just kept my regular dental insurance (Without ortho because why would I pay for ortho when I thought everything was complete because of the statement that their office sent). A couple months later I get another statement saying I owe a couple hundred dollars still because the insurance part was not complete. I talked to the office manager, and she said that she talked to the doctor and they both agreed that I still need to pay in full even though they sent the Payment complete statement. I have talked to my fellow Dental friends, and even in their offices, they say that because of the confusion they would at least cut the payment in half, But not GLO. They also said that this happens a lot of times which honestly made me more mad. If you can go somewhere different I would.

Everyone at Glo are awesome. My daughter has been going to the Georgetown office for the past 2 years and everyone here has always made her feel comfortable and relaxed and listen when she expresses herself- which for my daughter to feel at ease with anyone besides her immediate family is a major accomplishment. I would recommend Glo to anyone and everyone and I usually do.

Amazing!! I had been to another orthodontist with my child and was not satisfied. The entire office seemed burnt out and not happy to be there at all, and didn’t explain much. This office is nice and uplifting, and you feel welcome from the moment you walk in the door. The orthodontist explained her treatment plan very thoroughly and I am excited to see my child’s teeth in a few years!
