Lakewood Family Dental

I started the denture process sometime in 2024, I had been to a different Fort Wayne Dental office where things weren’t going very well from the start. The dentist was knowledgeable and nice but other things (someone of her staff) there seemed to go against her goodness. I needed to make a change to choose another dentist so I called Lakewood Family Dental. I went there for my appointment this week, with very little prior information about dentures. I talked with the people at Lakewood Family Dental and now I understand the process of getting dentures. They will be checked several times to be sure that they are a good fit for me. I feel so much more at ease now, with being confident that I will be satisfied with the new dentures this time from Lakewood Family Dental. Thank you!

First time here and love love love it! The doc is gentle on cleaning and super sweet the staff is amazing very informative and helpful. My younger kids had a great time and ready to come back for their cleaning. Everything is clean and tidy. You can tell they care!

Had an appointment scheduled for 2 o'clock for a cleaning and then at 3 o'clock fillings. They have a policy that if your 10 min late then you have to reschedule. What about our time waiting? Know staff members come and said anything. Didn't get back into the chair untill around 2:30 or so then probably another 15 mins or so, they come in and numb the mouth for the filling. At this point no cleaning or anything except the numbing. At 4:02 they finally come in and regave some numbing medicine. Did the cleaning and filling and it now 4:29. And just was told thanks for your patience we are under staff.

Ive been going to Lakewood family dental for abt 7 years. I got a partial on top & full dentures on bottom abt 5 yrs ago. I absolutely hated them. They never stayed in, I'd have to glue them several times a day & 90% of the time- I had to take then OUT TO EAT. They were basically just for looks & they weren't even that great looking. I was extremely disappointed. When I complained they just said my bottom gums have receded & there was no ridge for them to hold on to & there was nothing they could do. So I just thought this is how it was going to b now..... Fast forward to abt 2-3 months ago. THEY HAVE A NEW DENTIST. I absolutely love her. She really cares & believes you should like your smile & the ability to use your teeth for eating is important. She asked me if I wanted a realignment since it had been so long. They have this new device that just scans your mouth, no more yucky goop. I was very skeptical. But when my dentures came back & i put them in my mouth, they fit better than they did previously even with glue. I WAS AMAZED! Now I have teeth that can chew just abt anything! Things I haven't eaten in years, like raw vegetables & nuts. I actually wear them all day everyday! Teeth for eating, I thought that was a thing of the past. If you've went to Lakewood in the past or heard horror stories u should really give them another shot. I'm sure u won't b disappointed! It totally been a gamechanger for me.

They did awesome with my 4 year old! It was his first teeth cleaning and it was a good first time experience. Dr. Numbers and Maritza are great at what they do. I definitely recommend them!
