Familia Dental

When I called I asked if they provided same day service. When we got there, it changed. The first doctor tried to over talk me after I'd already made the decision. She was trying to convince me that my son's tooth could be saved and get a root canal while telling me how bad and infected it was. Then she said they couldnt do there, today, and we cpuld come back in about 3 or so days to do the root canal. I said no ma'am, we're pulling. He's 17, if its that bad, he'll be back in a year or less and we're not doing that. I explained to her that the only reason we came is bc we were told we could get same day service. I just had to surgeries on my spine and shouldn't be outside but my child is in pain and that is important and I wouldn't have risked myself if he couldn't be helped. She got upset and walked away and started talking to another doctor, telling him about us, came back and said, "he's going to help you" and just kept walking. The assistant apologies for her and waits with me. They scheduled us to come back within an hour and everyone is more polite but just... blah. The new doctor, Dr. K explained that the root canal was going to cost $1200 per cap and it had to be done out of town. He said that the tooth was pretty bad and he agreed to just pull it. Now, the environment is dull, the outside is gross, trashy, baby bottles, the clips they use to cover you with, plates, cups, plastic, etc. Its got a weird smell, like a beauty salon, but not a favorable one. There seems to be no dress code for the employees not doing dental work and one of the business office people had on a dress that looks like its more for after work drinks than a 9-5 job that services CHILDREN. Thigh high boots?! Like really?! Everyone should be in scrubs, in my opinion. It just looks more professional. I think professional environments should have staff dressed appropriately. Decency and order. She looked very nice but not for the work place. The front desk workers are nice but the environment was just very blah. Like no one was happy. Just there to be there. Maybe because its Wednesday?! Idk, either way... it was a 50/50 experience.

I gave it to Stars surely for the doctor he seems very nice and very knowledgeable and he did a good job. Everything else was way below par, the place seemed dirty completely unorganized there was no communication whatsoever the first appointment they told us we had to make payment for a consultation or root canal when we got to that appointment then nothing about that consultation and just said he had seven cavities to fill. Okay possibly a mix up on my end so they said they'll take care of two of them today which they did and then they said,, okay you're all done you can go no paperwork no nothing no scheduling more appointments for the next session to fill other cavities that they told me he had nothing. We will not be going back there again

The doctor and medical assistant was helpful and supported. However the cleaningness of the dental office could be better. Thank you

The team at Familia Dental was fantastic! The service was completed in a timely manner. In my opinion the dentist went above and beyond to make my child feel comfortable during his appointment. I am 100% sure we will continue to visit this location for all of our oral care. Thank you Familia Dental Family!

The staff was nice and explained what my daughter needed. They told me the price and said they would submit a prior authorization to her insurance and get back to me within a week. It’s been 2 months and I haven’t heard back. I’ve called multiple times and left messages and no one has called me back.
