Downer Place Dental & Orthodontics

I had an appointment today with my son; the staff was friendly, they got us in quick and as afraid as I was… the hygienist was gentle. I am so happy he and I found this place. Don’t worry about parking as I did. Plenty of free parking right in the front. I look forward to going again!!!!

There was a slight concern with the sanitation of the office as dental tools were open in the hallways of patients passing through to get to their examination/procedure space. After examination, it was determined that they would decline my request for a cleaning as they suggested a deep cleaning, even after requesting again anyway. I was never even offered the opportunity to pay for it my own. It was like my insurance was only good for X-rays. I also asked for my record of them and they printed me out a piece paper instead of sending what they had via email. Never even received the follow up that was promised the following day. It was very unprofessional, a waste of time and unsatisfactory. If the goal was to make sure I never come back, mission accomplished.

I was very happy with the overall appointment, from the initial phone call to the end of the appointment. Ruby was so sweet and patient with my daughter. My daughter was super scared and nervous due to having a bad experience at a different office. She couldn't stop smiling after her appointment and showing off her smile!

Dr. Mohammed Qashmer shows a gentle and caring attitude toward little patients. He completely understands children’s fears — and parents’ worries too. You can get help quickly whenever you need it. Excellent service. My son was scared at first, but he calmed down quickly and even promised me he would come again. That shows how much trust Dr. Qashmer earned from a very sensitive little client.

I had a very pleasant times and received some very valuable information. The dentist and staff was very engaging. Unfortunately, we were not able to complete the X-rays. Therefore, I will gladly return to get X-rays for the insurance carrier.
