Thank you, thank you, thank you Grand Dental! My husband had been to a different dental practice on Thursday for a severe toothache he’d been dealing with for several days. They informed him he needed a root canal and were able to schedule him for the next afternoon. The doctor began the procedure and then discovered the tooth was cracked and needed to be extracted instead. They were unable to do the extraction at that point so packed the tooth then told us he’d have to wait till Monday to get the tooth removed AND did not provide him with any medication for pain relief even after I begged for something to get him through the weekend. I frantically called dental places Saturday morning trying to find somewhere that could see him on an emergency basis. Grand Dental went out of their way to fit him in and address the infected tooth. They saw him in less than an hour and removed the tooth so he could begin to heal and get some pain relief. The staff was so kind and Dr. Rojas made sure my husband was comfortable and addressed his pain and the root cause - literally! We are SO incredibly thankful for their caring and kindness and would absolutely work with them in the future.

My family was looking for a dental practice that would treat all ages of my family. Its so hard to commute and plan any medical appointments let alone when the kids have to go halfway across the city and the parents are in the other direction. It'll be so nice to be in the same facility. I love the esthetics of the office and building. Pro tip: the door that reads "center implants" is the actual dental office. 😆 My hygienist was so very nice! She was informative and well versed in any dental angst one may have! The front desk staff was so kind, helpful, and very transparent about finances! Also, more than willing to help me book the 1 million appointments I needed to make between myself and 3 others! Even so much to make sure to annotate a referral credit for when my family starts to go there too! The sweet little climbing tree is adorable! At the end, very easy to make an appointment, clean office, and family friendly!

NOT FOR ANXIETY PATIENTS!!! My experience with Aurora Grand Dental started on 12/4 and didn’t finally end until 1/22. Nearly 5 months later, I am still dealing with pain from the work that was done. I chose this office because I require IV sedation due to severe dental anxiety and was under the impression this would be as close to a one-and-done procedure as possible. Instead, it turned into multiple appointments, scheduling failures, additional sedation, months of delays, and a significant financial burden. My first appointment was on 12/4. I arrived at 7:45 AM as instructed and ended up waiting over 2 1/2 hours past my appointment time. I repeatedly went to the front desk asking for updates and was simply told to wait. Eventually, the anesthesiologist came out and told me to drive around for another hour or two and not eat or drink. After already waiting over 2 1/2 hours, I found that completely unacceptable. There was no guarantee I would actually be seen if I came back, and I felt like I was being talked to like a child instead of a patient with severe anxiety. A few days later, I was told the patient before me had complications and their procedure took much longer than expected. I understand complications happen, but waiting potentially 4-6 hours for a scheduled appointment is ridiculous. The fact that nobody communicated what was happening while I sat there only made it worse. Afterward, I was apologized profusely and was assured my case would be treated with top priority. We agreed I would be the first patient on 12/18 so there would not be a repeat of what happened. I showed up on 12/18 expecting treatment only to be told my appointment had been moved to 12/23 due to their own scheduling fault. The office claimed they contacted me, but the call came from an unknown number that my phone flagged as spam, not an office number or any number I had previously communicated with. Because of that, I had no idea the appointment had been changed and showed up expecting treatment. The new date was also 12/23, right before Christmas Eve. When treatment finally happened on 12/23, I received a root canal, multiple fillings, and temporary crowns. On the drive home, the temporary crowns fell out and I had to return to the office immediately. They permanently cemented the temporary crowns back in. What I was not informed of was that permanently cementing temporary crowns would later require another invasive procedure to remove them. One of the main reasons I chose sedation dentistry was to avoid repeated procedures so it would almost be a one and done. Instead, I later had to undergo IV sedation AGAIN just to have the temporary crowns removed and the permanent crowns installed. This cost me thousands and thousands of dollars. I had to pull money out of my retirement account to pay as I didn’t expect to go under twice. Because of scheduling issues, I ended up wearing the temporary crowns much longer than expected. I tried finding another dentist because I had lost confidence in the office, but every dentist I contacted told me they would not install crowns they did not personally order. I was financially stuck. I did not receive my permanent crowns until 1/22. What I believed would be one procedure became months of appointments, delays, additional sedation, recovery time, and crazy expensive . To be fair, Nicole and the second anesthesiologist genuinely tried to help and communicate when problems arose. Unfortunately, good people didn’t change the outcome. Nearly 5 months later, one of the crowns still hurts badly enough that I cannot chew on that side and now need another dentist to evaluate and likely replace it. I came here hoping to reduce my dental anxiety. Instead, I left with more anxiety, more pain, more expenses, and dental work that needs to be redone.

I’m in the process of getting an implant procedure done and Dr. Wells and the Grand Dental staff have been amazing. From walking in the door, being seen in a timely manner, to pretty much painless procedures. An overall great place!
