Franklin Dental & Braces

Today my 21 year old Autistic son had an appointment there we waited for an hour and a half and he wasn't done yet. They were just checking gums due to bad breath and a previous cleaning that mentioned his gum health. When I went to check how much longer it would be because my phone was dying and I needed to charge it they told me 5 more minutes. I went to my car. Within 5 minutes he called me and said that they wanted to talk to me when I went inside they said they were prescribing him a mouthwash for bacteria in his mouth. As we were leaving he proceeded to go back inside and I said we were done when we were outside he said he thought he had to go back in there since they never looked at his mouth. I went back inside to ask them they told me that they did. I asked him again in the car and he said no one ever looked inside of his mouth. He explained that they were about to but then no one ever did he was told to come and get me. This is very unprofessional! This is not the first time I experienced them having long wait times and him not being seen within the time frame of one to two hours. How do you prescribe something without even doing your job? Wasted our time! Then lie about it when I ask. (The doctors ) My son is very aware of what's going on and shame on you for treating us like this repeatedly. We will not be returning. Front staff are nice and just doing their job.

Tanisha was very helpful and went above and beyond to help us in so many different ways. Her staff was also excellent and very welcoming. She made sure I got my braces tightened and took the time to make sure everything was taken care of. I truly appreciate her kindness and great service. Thank you so much, Tanisha!

I am extremely angry and disappointed with the way my appointment was handled. My appointment was scheduled for today, and they waited until the SAME DAY to cancel it. I took an entire day off from work specifically for this appointment, and that day is unpaid. I am now losing money because they decided to cancel my appointment at the last minute. This is completely unacceptable. People’s time matters. People have jobs, responsibilities, and schedules that they have to rearrange in order to attend an appointment. Waiting until the same day to cancel shows absolutely no consideration for the patient or for the consequences that cancellation may cause. I did my part. I scheduled my appointment, planned around it, and took the necessary time off from work. Now I am the one losing a full day of pay because of a cancellation that had nothing to do with me. Simply offering to reschedule does not fix the fact that I already lost money today. I cannot get this workday back. This is extremely frustrating, disrespectful of my time, and completely unacceptable. A patient’s time and money should be treated with the same importance as the office’s time.

My first experience was great overall. Initially, I was a little annoyed because I had scheduled an 11:00 AM appointment. When I called to confirm, I asked how long the consult would take, and the young lady told me that if I came earlier I would likely be in and out faster. So I agreed to move my appointment to 8:00 AM. I arrived around 7:45 AM and noticed several people already waiting to get in. At 8:00 AM there was no sign of anyone inside, and I started to feel a little annoyed thinking we might be waiting for someone to open the office. However, at 8:04 AM the lights came on and someone came to open the door, which was great. After signing in, I only waited a few minutes before a dental assistant came to get me. She was very friendly, and we chatted while she completed my X-rays and started the consult. Shortly after, Dr. Banks came in. She was nice as well, and I felt completely comfortable during the visit. She examined my teeth, explained what would be needed for my treatment, and we were finished. The process was very efficient I was able to make it to work by 9:00 AM. I’m an adult getting braces for the second time, and I’m overly excited. I’m hoping the rest of my treatment goes just as smoothly as this first visit. On 7/1/2026 I had my 3 appt and just as before I didn't have a long wait time. My appt was scheduled for 9:30am and i arrived about 9:15 checked in and not even 10 minutes passed and i was called to the back. The young lady was sweet. I didn't catch her name but she had pink dreads. Very nice and she answered some questions i had, removed and applied my new hardware and sent me on my way. I havent encountered any issues and I hope it continues to be a smooth ride for the remainder of my treatment.

My son’s appointment was at 1pm. Check-in was quick and easy. I loved the new paperwork update they have. Filling out everything digitally was so much easier. We only had to wait maybe 5 minutes for his name to be called. Special shout-out to Cagney. My son can be very energetic at times & have random bursts of energy. I love how she handled getting him to do the x-rays. With him being my firstborn, I have always been super protective over him & how people treat him. I have been a patient of Franklin Dental since forever & there’s not another location I trust more than this one.
