I’m new to this office. The lady before me had her appointment time changed without her knowledge. My records from my other dentist had never arrived and they waited to tell me this until I entered the exam room. Then, without knowledge of my hx the hygienist assumed I had periodontal issues by examining my freshly taken XR’s. Not true, the picture she viewed displayed a 25 yrs ago periodontal issue. My previous dentist has been watching my progress over time and no advancing dz has been observed. This made me very uncomfortable. The hygienist should wait until she sees my history records and then she would know that the alarmist comments she was making were unfounded. I hope my future visits are better. Time will tell. I have faith we will have better appointments in the future.

While their facility was very clean, the attitude that I got was definitely a one-star service I need to have some Bridge work done I'm on a existing bridge that I have and the doctor seemed very annoyed by my questions, I don't understand dentist / medical terminology so I had to ask a few questions. She seemed like she didn't want to do the repair work and was making sure that I know that any repair that she might have done she would not be held responsible for if something happened to my bridge because of it. While I appreciate being informed of the risks. It was almost as if she was trying to talk me out of it because it wasn't something she wanted to do her medical assistant Anaya, pardon me if I misspelled it was completely rude, she rolled her eyes at me a few times when once again trying to figure out exactly what the process of the repair was going to be, and gave me a" do you want this or not". I'm sorry it's my mouth I have a right to be concerned as to the steps taking place and if this annoys you, dealing with customers and having dialogue and addressing concerns. Then why did you get into this business.. all about financial gain? , I was initially impressed by the cleanliness of everything and it immediately was overshadowed by the attitude and tone.

I don’t know how this place gets good reviews. My family has had our teeth cleaned all over the U.S. just fine. Here they won’t clean them unless we get a “special” cleaning that costs a pretty penny—hundreds or thousands of dollars. They sent photos for a referral that were NOT my teeth. Did the hygienist pretend she took photos of my teeth and attach someone else’s to my chart? She only took X-rays! So weird, suspicious, and unprofessional, which pretty much sums up my experience here. I’ve gotten random extra bills that don’t show exactly what they’re for. Look up the words “coast dental SCAM” in a search engine. Stay away!

Pretty good first visit. Clean, nice staff. Very professional. The wait wasn't long. Everything was clear cut. The only discomfort was the xrays but that was on me. I have a terrible bite. Great establishment in my book.

Please get a second opinion if they tell you that there’s anything wrong with your teeth/gums!! I paid over $1000 per year (with insurance!) getting cleanings every three months. Moved out of state and finally got to see an ACTUAL dentist and turns out I did NOT need deep cleanings each visit and there was NOTHING wrong with my gums. I actually had a good experience whilst going to Coast but after finding out they scammed both me and my partner, I have a VERY bad taste in my mouth. DO BETTER!
