Edwards, Cavendish & Jones Jacksonville Dentistry

Dr. Edwards is an amazing clinician. I work in healthcare and I have tremendous respect for healthcare providers that not only go the extra mile to provide good care but also have the clinical expertise to work their way through challenging cases. Dr. Edwards does both exceptionally well. I’ve had other dentists in the past that could do one of the two but it’s really rare to get both. Her office is also great, many employees have been there for years and treat you like family. No place is perfect but this is probably one of the handful of 5 star google reviews that are legitimate

Ok I had to post. 4 visits now. I have PTSD and they are the greatest dental clinic I've ever been to. Very attentive and accommodating. Making sure you're comfortable. They care about you and your health. TV and headphones, a vibrating and heated chair, and blanket if you're cold. They are the best! Plus they've always been on time with my appointments. What doctor can say that!

Saddened to say Today (8/28/2025) I left my dental appointment disappointed and dissatisfied after 10+ years of receiving dental service at the Edwards, Cavendish & Jones. Today’s Service was not completed thoroughly, I was asked to sit in the lobby to get more xrays pictures because the young lady who I seen wasn’t able to get certain angles/pictures of what she needed. She expressed I would only have to wait 5 minutes. 5 minutes, 10 minutes passed by and no one came out to call me back to finish the X-rays pictures that couldn’t be captured the first time. So, eventually I got up and stated to the young lady behind the desk no one has come back out to get me; however I need to go. The young lady who I spoke to apologized and stated the service today will be canceled from my insurance and we can reschedule. I walked to my car after my appointment to drive home but, before I actually drive off I look in the mirror to see my smile and cleaning work. I realized that there is chip in the Front left tooth that was not there before my appointment. I turned my car off and walked back to the dentist office to see if I can speak to one of the main dentist such as Doctor Edwards or Doctor Cavendish, the young lady who I spoke to before informing her I’d been sitting there and no one came back out for me and the same lady that told me my insurance will not be billed for today’s service, told me that she will send me a text and for me to send the picture I showed her of my chipped tooth that I believe to have been caused by my cleaning service. I sent the picture with dialogue and no reply to follow.

Amazing experience! Skilled, friendly, caring and incredibly intelligent! It’s the only dentist, where my family and I actually look forward to our appointments! So fun…if you need a dentist - go! If you don’t think you need a dentist, go anyway …and you’ll leave feeling fresh and with a brighter smile. Love.

This is a wonderful dental practice. I’ve had my same hygienist, Karla, for 25 years. Everyone treats you like family. Dr. Edwards and Cavendish have taken care of myself and my family and everyone feels very comfortable with their care.
