Main Street Children's Dentistry and Orthodontics of Cape Coral

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly Recommend! Both of my kids go to Main Street Pediatric Dentistry on Cape Coral Pkwy, and we absolutely love it there. Dr. Jordan T. Hester is truly amazing—so patient, kind, and wonderful with children. My 8-year-old son needed several crowns (which is definitely not the easiest appointment), and Dr. Jordan made the entire process relaxed and stress-free. He’s incredibly gentle and has a great way of helping kids feel comfortable and not scared. I honestly can’t say enough good things about him. The entire team—staff and dental assistants—has always been friendly, supportive, and great with the kids. So grateful to have a pediatric dentist I trust that I am comfortable bringing my kids to. Highly recommend! 💙🦷

I love this office! The staff were so patient with my 3 year old as it was her first time. And they just overall are friendly with the kids. The dentist is so patient and caring while he worked on my oldest daughter. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience with our special needs daughter this week. We had a smooth check in, short wait, and good check up. The doctor and assistant listened and were helpful. Also, the front desk staff were all very kind and went out of their way to make my daughter feel safe and welcomed.

Nothing is fun about a pediatric dental appointment, but Main Street are masters at making my son feel comfortable and at ease for an extraction plus two cavities. I was more nervous than he was! Highly recommended for your children!

I scheduled appointments for my 3.5- and 5.5-year-old sons at 10:00 and 11:00, times specifically suggested by the office. We arrived at 9:40 to ensure we were on time. The waiting area was uncomfortably warm (approximately 82°F) with no air circulation whatsoever. Around 10:30, I politely inquired about the delay and was informed they were short-staffed. We were finally seen at 11:00 and finished by 11:30. When we approached the front desk to schedule a six-month follow-up, the staff member (who identified himself as the manager) expressed what appeared to be extreme frustration combined with noticeable condescension. Despite his apology for the wait, his tone and demeanor made it feel as though I owed an apology. I explained that the extended delay meant I could no longer take my children to daycare, would miss work for the day, and that the boys were now hungry and thirsty. I suggested an 8:00 a.m. appointment for the next visit to avoid similar issues. Instead of accommodating this reasonable request, the manager strongly recommended that I seek care at another practice, stating I “would not be happy here” because “this is how it is every single day” and implying I simply did not understand their operations. When I asked why chronic delays and complaints (which I personally observed from other patients in the waiting area) persisted without apparent improvement, and where I could file a formal complaint, he replied—quite proudly—that complaints should be directed to him, as he is the manager. Throughout the exchange I remained as calm, respectful, and composed as I possibly could under the circumstances. I was voicing legitimate complaints about the situation, but I was never rude, raised my voice, or acted in an ugly or hostile manner. Nevertheless, the manager’s dismissive, arrogant, and unprofessional manner left me feeling belittled and unwelcome. I was left wondering whether he would have spoken to me with the same level of condescension and cockiness if I had been a man, or if I had been accompanied by my husband. The long wait was frustrating enough, but the manager’s condescending and superior attitude was the truly unacceptable part of this visit. I cannot recommend this practice based on this experience. But! (The dentist and the staff in the back were, as always, amazing—professional, gentle, and excellent with the children. This has been consistently true every single time I’ve brought my older son in the past.)
