Main Street Children's Dentistry and Orthodontics of Cape Coral

The waiting room is unwelcoming. For a children's dentist, the first impression is dark, gloomy and dirty. We had a morning appointment and theres already trash, leaves, dirt and crumbs all around the floor. So much that my children noticed how dark and dirty it was. There's a chalk drawing on the windowsill of a sad stick figure face too. The employees are friendly though which helps. The appearance needs attention.

My son had a 9:00 a.m. appointment he's completely disabled wheelchair bound I filled out all the registration paperwork two nights prior submitted it I get to the office they tell me I have a pile of paperwork to fill out hand it to me and I said I already did it online the other night it took squite some time because of his medical history and they literally go through everybody system &history. I tell her I can't even see the paperwork number one the waiting room is dark and gloomy barely any lighting all the shades drawn you can't see so I go out to my car to try to fill it out couldn't see the small writing because my eyes are really bad and I told the girl at the desk that. Her response was oh it's much easier to do it on paper okay but I already did it and spent 40 minutes doing it online? Needless to say they didn't care that it's a process just to get him somewhere because he is in a wheelchair and has extensive medical needs office manager "Tom" was less than helpful , defensive yes, helpful no...they could have at least given me the option to do the paperwork and taken my son him as his appointment was at 9:00 a.m.. when I spoke to the office manager he said well you didn't say you wanted to do it at your leisure because I had mentioned if they had given me that option I actually could have sent my husband to get me a pair of glasses so I could see better. Very unprofessional when spoken to on the phone just didn't seem to care. I can tell you this I've been a nurse for 30 years wouldn't treat any of my patients families this way

Nothing is fun about a pediatric dental appointment, but Main Street are masters at making my son feel comfortable and at ease for an extraction plus two cavities. I was more nervous than he was! Highly recommended for your children!

Had an amazing experience! The dentist was super calm and nice, amazing bedside manner. The front office messed up my pricing a smidge but then honored their original price. I’m not going to lie I was definitely nervous to come here, but I’m glad I did! Great staff, great dentistry. If you have the type of insurance that only allows you to go here, do! You’ll be pleasantly surprised!

For a children’s dentist they really don’t seem to enjoy working with kids. My daughter has been there twice and I wasn’t impressed either time. She had to have dental work done at a different office that was pretty traumatic for her a few months ago. Today we just went in for a cleaning and she was already scared and nervous. She’s 2 years old and kept sitting up in the chair to look around and the dentist was very rude and said, “she doesn’t have to be here”. So I won’t be taking her back. Both times we’ve been there they just seemed annoyed by her and other kids. The waiting room is dark and uninviting for children. We went here because it was close to home but it’s just not worth the unpleasant experience.
