I cannot recommend West Hartford Orthodontics and Farmington Valley Orthodontics highly enough. I was originally a patient of Dr. Drew as a teen and had my first set of braces removed in 2016. When I needed treatment again in 2026 currently in my 20’s nearly 10 years later, there was never a question about where I would go. Returning was an easy decision because I already knew I trusted this team.I’m only five months into my second round of treatment, but the progress I’m already seeing completely confirms I made the right choice. Dr. Menjivar is an outstanding orthodontist; she is highly knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and genuinely kind. She takes the time to explain each step, answers every question thoroughly, and combines her expertise with real care for her patients. The staff is another massive reason this practice stands out. Walking back into the office after a decade and seeing some of the same orthodontic assistants who cared for me during my first round of treatment was such a wonderful surprise. They were just as welcoming and professional as I remembered, and it has been an absolute joy working with them again.Both the West Hartford and Farmington Valley offices are organized and efficient, but they never feel rushed or impersonal. Everyone takes the time to listen and genuinely gets to know you. If you are a former patient considering treatment again, or anyone looking for excellent orthodontic care, this is absolutely the place to go. Thank you so much to Dr. Menjivar and the entire team!

Everything about Dr. Menjivar's practice is exceptional. First and foremost, the orthodontic results for my daughter were impeccable, but every aspect of our time there has been a pleasure. From the front desk staff to the dental technicians, everyone is warm, professional and at the top of their game, and instantly, patients (and parents) know they are in capable hands. It is immediately clear that Dr. Menjivar is intelligent, skillful and meticulous, but she also explains treatment and every adjustment thoroughly and respectfully. My teenage daughter truly appreciated the way Dr. Menjivar spoke to her-- not over her to her parent-- and she truly enjoyed coming for her regular visits. Scheduling appts is a breeze here, there are no long waits to be seen, and the office is filled with seltzers and coffee, and lots of cool merch that patients are eager to bring home. This is a model medical office, and it was a pleasure being treated here. So much gratitude to everyone at West Hartford Orthodontics!

We’ve had such a great experience with West Hartford Orthodontics and Dr. Menjvar! She and her entire team are always so pleasant, cheerful, and welcoming. They walk you through every step of the process and make everything feel easy and stress-free. They also have by far the shortest wait times we’ve experienced, which is such a huge plus — although they do offer an amazing selection of refreshments while you wait! Highly recommend this office to anyone looking for outstanding orthodontic care.

The entire team is incredible. Dr. Menjivar explained everything each step of the way. We always felt seen and heard and everyone is so kind and patient throughout the process. Emma had a serious mouth accident a few months into getting braces where the braces broke off her teeth while we were out of town. On return, we were seen immediately, and Dr. Menjivar even coordinated with Emma’s dentist, Dr. Tami Stein, over the weekend.
