We love Orthodontics Pediatric Dentistry San Francisco! Dr. Lee and Dr. Pang have been taking care of our son’s teeth for a couple of years now. He’s needed an expander and braces and they have been so patient and caring. They make sure he understands what is happening and why they need to do it. The staff is always kind and attentive as well. Thank you to Martha, Karla and the rest of the staff! They are all great with kids! I highly recommend OPDSF for all kids dental needs!

I'm writing this review to make parents aware of my experience as a child patient of Peter Lee, both his manner and his skill as a practitioner. I underwent Invisalign treatment that, in my view, led to lasting problems. During the second year of treatment, I repeatedly told him about jaw pain and accompanying headaches, and that my bite felt very uncomfortable. He never addressed these concerns and instead laughed them off, each time telling me, "You're just studying too hard". The discomfort in my jaw and bite persisted after treatment ended. Pain during orthodontic treatment matters because, left unaddressed, it can contribute to permanent root resorption, bone resorption, and other long-term damage. A good orthodontist should take such complaints seriously, but he dismissed them every time. Later, when I requested my medical records, I wanted to understand his observations and decisions about my wisdom teeth, which became impacted during the Invisalign treatment when they hadn't been before. I asked whether his treatment had contributed to them becoming impacted, and why removing them wasn't discussed at the time (ages 16–18). His response on the phone was an aggressive "Don't point fingers." I was shocked to hear that from a doctor. He then said my dentist should have been responsible, but it wasn't my dentist who moved my teeth during those years. An orthodontist who specializes in Invisalign should understand how shifting teeth works in conjunction with and affects the wisdom teeth. There have been other problematic things he has done, but I think this is enough for any parents to read. Several Yelp reviews also mention him yelling at both children and adults. As a parent, you want your kid’s concerns to be taken seriously and not waved off. My advice is to find someone who cares about your concerns and isn’t dismissive which would lead to long-term complications such as in my case.

Really kid friendly and fun. Has prizes for people who get scans and treatment. Really really nice staff members. Taea and Tina are our assistants at our most recent meeting and they were absolute stars🤩. Really sanitary and the orthodontist office smells wonderful. Has monthly raffles for prizes and give kid toothbrushes and other things in little dentist goodie-bags. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Great customer service!! I did Invisalign and my teeth became perfect! Every visit was very informative and they genuinely care about their patients.

My children has been coming to OPDSF since they were very young. Dr. Lee and his staff (Martha and Clay) have been very friendly and pleasant to work with. I am very thankful to the team for teaching my kids how to keep up with their oral hygiene and their health! I would highly recommend this office. Thanks for all you do! Darren D., mom
