I never needed braces as a child but my bite became misaligned in my 30s and required braces to fix it. I met with a few other orthodontists but they didn’t seem to confidently identify what was going on with my bite. When I met with Dr. Hakim he immediately knew what was going on with my bite and how to fix it. I was told my case was complicated and might require jaw surgery but I was thrilled that Dr. Hakim was able to fix my bite with only braces. I drive from San Diego and appreciate that the office is always willing to accommodate my schedule. My teeth look great and my bite is comfortable again!

We had the best experience with Dr. Hakim and his team dealing with mouth breathing and a visually uneven jawline for my teen son, and learning that the bite was uneven after Invisalign use at another orthodontist. Dr. Hakim helped my son with his bite, and after treatment ended, my sons bite is now even and he can work with the mouth breathing with more ease, now that one part of the underlying issue has been solved.
