Dental Brothers - Mesa, AZ

I haven't started any work yet, this was my time. All of them greeted me very kind. I even left with a gift that was not a tooth brush. They are a one stop shop.I felt very comfortable and welcomed. Thank you very much to all of you.

I am giving Dental Brothers two stars, because the dentists are very good and do really good work, but the way they charge their patients and deal with insurance companies is horrible. My oral surgery was on January 20th, 2025, and I paid $9,663 up front out of pocket. I found out later that this was their office estimate not from the insurance company. Also, I chose my insurance company based on their suggestion, because they said that it would cover 30% of the fee for my anesthesia. However, Dental Brothers never put through a request for a pretreatment estimate from my insurance company, so I was made to think that what I paid out of pocket was what my insurance company said I had to pay. When I called and asked Dental Brothers why they hadn't done this, their response was that it wasn't their job to ask for a pretreatment estimate and if I wanted them to do that, I had to ask them too. Then, I was told that they would send in the claim for my treatment on the day of my treatment, which they did. However, they neglected to send in proper Dental codes from the very beginning. I spoke to Dental Brothers about this on multiple occasions, and they kept refusing to send in the proper codes for my anesthesia. They also neglected to send in other important information for other parts of my treatment, which is what led me to finding a discrepancy between the EOB from my insurance company and what Dental Brothers charged me. After the insurance company reviewed my claim, they informed me and Dental Brothers that they owe me a refund in the amount of $4745. It has now been over a year that my insurance company has been fighting Dental Brothers on my behalf to get them to issue me the refund they owe me and/ or to send in another claim with the proper Dental codes for the cost of the anesthesia used during my treatment. Dental has continued to refuse to comply with my insurance company's requests and decisions, so I am now considering taking legal action against them. This situation should have been resolved a long time ago.

Was expecting to put a 5 star review. Loved the dentist and the hygienist and had a good experience with the orthodontist and assistant even though they were running late. Unfortunately, when I got my "quote" for treatment, they tried to charge about $600+ per visit for general anesthesia, which I'm told the dentist requested due to my gag reflex. I can't afford that and insurance doesn't cover it, so I asked for a cheaper option. To prescribe and monitor me with valium is $195/visit. That doesn't even include the valium! Highly disappointed in the bait and switch tactic, and that I had to hunt down answers from Jacqui. While I understand that monitoring a patient while sedated is important, it's a little excessive to charge *almost* $200/visit just because someone's in the chair with a downer onboard. Back to the drawing board to find a dentist that will actually work with me and not make decisions for me.

I had a wonderful experience at Dental Brothers. The entire staff is professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and comfortable. Excellent service all around—I highly recommend this office!
