Comfort Dental - West Mesa

I had a great experience at Comfort dental. Dr. Mercer was very kind and informative dentist, the staff was friendly and welcoming as well. I would definitely recommend them for all your dental needs.

Over the weekend I broke my molar, and as an uninsured individual this was an absolutely terrifying experience to have, knowing how expensive dental can get. I went in on Tuesday, got X-rays done, and said problem tooth extracted in the span of less than 2 hours. It costed WAY less than I was estimating it would. DR. Moorhead and every other staff member who saw me were all very sweet and very understanding of my timidness. I genuinely cannot recommend this place enough, especially to those needing emergency care who may or may not be insured.

I missed my appointment and they still let me come in and see the dentist get taken care of and the lady that took care of me was so nice. Yolanda on the front desk is very nice too. Thank you guys. I gotta say the Dentist was extremely nice himself too

I originally missed my appointment in the morning however they still got me in in the afternoon. Which I'm so thankful for because my tooth was killing me I wasn't so much pain. The dentist really went above and beyond his job. Not only did he walk me through what he was doing as he was doing it he made sure I was nice and numb and wasn't in any pain during the procedure. I'm going here off and on for about 4 years. And I still continue to recommend friends and family too this dentist office even if you don't have insurance they offer affordable prices! Look forward to going back for my consultation to see about my snap in dentures, I hope it's something I can afford and that will make my confidence and smile 110% better! The doctor here is wonderful, made me feel very comfortable and had pain free procedures here. During my teeth cleaning appointment it was discovered that I needed some fillings. Upon brief conversation with the doctor, it was mentioned that my insurance will cover the fillings so I scheduled to come back asap thinking it would be covered. Before I left the office, I sat down with the lady in the back who handles payments. I scheduled my appointment with her, and it was not mentioned to me that the fillings were not 100% covered and I will have to pay some out of pocket. I got to my second appointment for my fillings, and I was not asked for payment before nor was I informed that payment was necessary. The doctor performed the fillings, then I was told how much I needed to pay after everything. It was a little disappointing to see a practice run like this. Patients have the right to pricing up front, not after a procedure has been performed.
