Shedd Family & Cosmetic Dentistry

Shedd Family Dentistry is fantastic. While they are our dentist for regular cleanings, we've also used them for an emergency tooth issue and Invisalign. The care is great is all areas. We searched for 3 years after moving to Huntsville for a dentist who was taking new patients and we liked, a hard to find combo in this area. The search was worth it to find Shedd!

Dr Shedd is the best dentist I have ever been to (over a sixty-year time period!). He did an excellent job with my new crowns. He was concerned with my comfort during the procedure, my anxiety regarding it, and my satisfaction with the appearance. He has a great personality and is professional and caring. He is very diligent about his work and providing the best quality service for his patients.

Dr. Shedd is an excellent and personable dentist, and has excellent staff and hygenists (whose names I forget, sorry.) I am always comfortable and I have great confidence in their procedures. They do outstanding work, and they do everything possible to make my visits painless and comfortable. As another reviewer said, it is true that they will come up with a long list of potential work to be done, But Dr. Shedd is very cooperative and patient when I simply say I don't want that work done yet. Other reviewers cite that it is difficult to get in to see them, sometimes for months, and I agree. Google says they are open 3.5 days per week, and I have noticed that on holiday periods they take long vacations. But the main reason I can't give them 5 stars because they recently announced they were no longer "in network" for Blue Cross Blue Shield (my insurance.)

Love it. They listen to what you say and really care about making your mouth feel better. My situation has been very difficult. I had cancer and all my treatment and meds have messed my mouth up. Dr. Has really been sensitive to my situation. I am grateful for that.

I always enjoy my visits to Shedd Family & Cosmetic Dentistry. They are punctual, efficient, and professional every time. Barbara takes great care of me, and both she and Dr. Shedd are very kind and always make me feel welcome and in good hands. They have earned a loyal client in me, and I always recommend them to anyone looking for great dental care.
