I am 6mo pregnant and had a emergency issue with my front teeth. I’ve been ran into corners and endless circles buy other facilities and left in pain or over charged insanely . This morning I called, they got me in immediately! I was anxious, running off no sleep, and eventually got sick …. but I have never met such a compassionate staff in a dental setting. Money wasn’t a issue, they made a plan, talked financials, and then helped my pain come to an end. It’s been about an hour since my appointment, and I’ve continued crying in a peaceful mindset. I felt listened to and actually cared for and not looked at like a bunch of dollar signs. The front staff, beyond sweet and helpful as well. I’m already feeling relief in the areas I was in pain.. I will be able to smile again soon without embarrassment because they took my health and well being seriously. So grateful !

I want to first off say that I’m not one to leave negative reviews for every little thing, I get places & people have bad days sometimes but I have given this office specifically Dr. Black the benefit of the doubt & several chances. I will also say my oral health is not optimal due to poverty & medical neglect as a child which I have to try to do damage control now as an adult which can be both costly & embarrassing. If you only need cleanings then this establishment would be good for you but more in-depth dental care, I would look elsewhere. The providers, especially Dr. Black are not very empathetic & understanding.. very “treat the tooth” & not the patient.

I absolutely love and recommend this office to anyone- especially people with anxiety around dental work/offices. The staff here will take care of you in every aspect- explaining everything, you can ask any question possible, ask for a break, even get some laughs in. I feel so safe and taken care of in this office, from billing to procedure it’s done with ease. I was extremely nervous my first couple appointments, each step was brought with a smile, and an explanation of what was happening. They could see I was nervous and reassured me multiple times that I was in good hands. Forever grateful for this practice, genuinely wouldn’t have kept up with my dental health if it wasn’t for them! Thank you!!

I had an absolutely amazing experience here and highly recommend it to everyone. I needed an emergency extraction and this was the only office willing to work me in on the same day. They were kind, polite, helpful, and got me in and out in about two hours. Dr. Emily Black made sure I was comfortable the entire time, did a phenomenal job removing my broken tooth, and made me feel so welcome and respected. Everyone I interacted with, from Dr. Black to the X-ray technician, to the receptionist, was friendly and genuinely seemed to want to help. I highly recommend this office and am so grateful to not be in pain anymore from that broken tooth!

I had a terrible tooth emergency while in Charleston. Fortune smiled and I randomly found Dr. Jarrett and her staff. From the second I entered the office, every person showed compassion to me. Dr. Jarrett put me at ease and I felt confident things would be okay. When she finished, I was amazed, blown away even, at my smile. The match she was able to make could not be distinguished from the surrounding teeth. Her work was invisible!! I would recommend her and her wonderful staff for any and every dental need. Regular cleaning or that unique and terrible incident.
