I had a great experience at Arlington Center for Dentistry during my recent dental checkup. The staff was welcoming and professional, and the dentist explained everything clearly while examining my teeth. The cleaning was very gentle but thorough. My teeth felt incredibly fresh afterward. I truly appreciated the attention to detail and the comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommend this place for anyone needing quality dental care.

This was by far one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a doctor. Dr. Kim was abrasive at both my cleaning and the dental filling. She did not listen to me. When I expressed serious concerns about her wanting to fill 6 cavities on the right side alone, she got angry and dismissive. She wanted to overfill every minor problem in my mouth. She dismissed all of my other concerns and did not listen at all to my questions on whitening. I allowed her to fill three cavities on my upper right side. A week after, that entire upper right row was extremely sore and tender. My teeth have been somewhat sore ever since. I am still unable to eat anything hard on the right side of my mouth (appointment was over a month ago at the end of January). I also had an unpleasant and unprofessional text exchange with a front desk employee prior to my appointment, in which the employee was not applying both dental and health insurance despite my request to. I also found it unprofessional that this was a text exchange and not a phone call. They also scheduled my second appointment for 30 minutes earlier than the time I agreed upon. They don't send appointment reminders, so it was simply my word against theirs. They were extremely unkind in their mistake. To top it all off, I needed the x-rays from this dentist to be seen by another dentist to fix these mistakes. They both drug their feet on sending me these x-rays and tried to claim I never filled out a request form. It caused me to have to pay for more x-rays out of pocket. The only good part about the experience were the kind and gentle dental hygienists. They do their job excellently and were extremely nice to talk to. In summary, do not come here. They will try to overfill and will not treat you with any professionalism or kindness.

I’m very disappointed with my experience here. Communication should be a pillar of excellence at medical clinics, and this one was lacking in so much. This reflects how little respect they have for their patients time, money and energy. I asked for a endodontist and a specific one and it was confirmed. In preparation for this, I took the time from work and paid a pretty penny to see this doctor. On my appointment day, when I arrive, I’m not only told that the doctor I specifically asked for wasn’t available, but that the purpose of my appointment couldn’t be met. In stead of an endodontist, (which I voiced I needed several times to the appointment booker) I would be seeing a GP. But WHY? I have a dentist that sent them a referral for the specific work I needed done! WHY would I need to see a GP ? I never even agreed to it! Please DO YOUR JOB.

I had a very disappointing experience with Arlington Center for Dentistry regarding appointments for my kids. On multiple occasions, they canceled or tried to reschedule appointments at the last minute, which was extremely inconvenient. There were also situations where they attempted to delay needed work instead of completing it as planned. My biggest concern is their $75 missed appointment fee. They attempted to charge this fee to Medicaid patients. From my understanding, Medicaid providers are not allowed to bill Medicaid members directly for missed appointments under federal and Virginia regulations. This raised serious concerns for me. Additionally, I found the front desk and reception staff to be unhelpful and unprofessional. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this office.
