I had such a positive experience with Dr. Newaz. He took the time to do a very thorough evaluation and clearly explained all of my diagnostic findings and treatment options. I appreciated how he connected my dental and jaw issues with symptoms I’ve been experiencing, which made me feel truly understood. His professionalism, attention to detail, and patient-centered approach really stood out. I feel confident moving forward with the treatment plan he recommended, and I would highly recommend Dr. Newaz to anyone looking for an orthodontist who goes above and beyond.

You can tell Dr Newaz enjoys what he does. I always as a lot of questions and not all providers like that, which I understand, but Dr Newaz was very patient, answered every question I had, and never dismissed my concerns. The initial visit didn’t feel rushed. I think it’s good thing they have an initial consult fee because then the provider probably feels like their time and work is being valued. Dr Newaz also agreed that it would be a good idea to see if braces alone can fix my bite before we look at more involved options like expansion. Feeling really hopeful about no longer having jaw pain and being able to bite properly!

I have been a patient of this practice for about 5+ years beginning with Dr. Walker treating my TMJ with non-invasive therapy and started expanding my son’s palate. Dr. Newaz began seeing both my son and I for orthodontic treatment following that. Dr. Newaz is highly skilled, and meticulous in making adjustments to produce the best results. He has treated us like family. My son has completed his treatment and the results are incredible! We are so grateful to be patients of his.

Rounding up - I felt I had great care and conversation with the Dr - good explanation of the interventions indicated and why in language I understood. Open dialogue and very receptive to questions. Tests and measures leading up to time with the Dr left me wanting more explanation of what was happening, how long it might take, what information was being gathered with the different tools used. Gender affirming care - I would just recommend to staff that you don’t know someone’s pronouns, ever - and instead of listing through the ones you think I might use (he/she/they) I encourage you to ask people their pronouns. And introduce yours if you’re comfortable doing so - with all patients. It’s inclusive and can make a huge difference in comfort in the care you are providing.

Dr. Newaz could not be more skilled. Kind, approachable demeanor, open to feedback, thinks outside the box and gentle hands. Efficient, capable and friendly staff as well!
