Fusion Dental & Braces - Hewitt

Had an appointment to removed my permanent retainer. The dentist no longer does permanent retainers. He said he’d scan my teeth and get impressions then remove my permanent retainer once the other retainer came in. I was told they’d send a text in order to pay for the new retainer. I never received the text. Turns out they had my old number in their system so I gave them my current number. It’s been over a month so I called them to see if the retainer came in and they said it did that they called me and I haven’t been answering…..why call the old number when I gave them my new number? I guess common sense is expensive at this place lol staff needs more training. During the call the receptionist said “you can come pick up the retainer whenever you’d like” so I asked “soo do I need an appointment to have my permanent retainer removed?” And she goes “the dentist doesn’t do permanent retainer.” So I repeated my exact same question. She then says I need impressions made…..yall pray for me because these impressions were already made and if they bs during this next appointment imma lose it. They love to waste peoples time with their lack of communication amongst each other. I figured since it was a new location they’d be better. My retainer is from a different fusion dental in 2017. Now that dentist was awesome.

I absolutely love visiting this orthodontic office! The team is attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient. The doctor takes the time to explain every step of the process in a professional and kind manner, which really puts you at ease. I would definitely give this office 10 stars and highly recommend it to anyone—adults and children alike!

Dr. Allsbrook and his team at the Hewitt office are fabulous! I have terrible anxiety about dental work and they have been so kind and considerate while working with me. Dr. Allsbrook is incredibly knowledgeable and answers questions well. He genuinely enjoys sharing his skills and information. We are grateful we found their office an their team!
