Leander Smiles

I have been going to Leander Smiles since I moved here 11 years ago. Dr Hogge recently finished a major transition on 5 of my front teeth. This requires extensive specialized knowledge and clinical expertise. It’s a significant functional and cosmetic change because it’s a major lifestyle adjustment. My end result is 100% perfection! Dr Hogge is an amazingly brilliant dentist! I couldn’t be happier! I have the perfect smile! Also, I need to thank the wonderful Mr. Loren, my hygienist! And of course the ‘hub’ of the office, Danielle at the front desk, always smiling, courteous, friendly and helpful! If there’s a brilliant dentist with a wonderful team, what more can be asked for! As you can tell I highly 100% recommend! Also forgot to mention that they’ll fit in with your schedule and you’re never waiting more than a few minutes. You’ll Love Leander Smiles!

I’ve been coming here for about six years, and I drive 45 minutes because the care is worth it. The male hygienist is the best ! he’s thorough, professional, and always makes the experience comfortable. The doctor is great too and has always been easy to talk to. Unfortunately, the front desk experience has become the complete opposite. The heavier-set woman at the front desk seems to maybe outgrown her position? She’s definitely not happy to come to work everyday and it shows. She always seems like she’s unhappy to be there. When I walked in, she was on the phone rolling her eyes while talking to another patient, which wasn’t a great impression. Every interaction I’ve had with her has felt unnecessarily aggressive, even though I always speak respectfully and calmly. The moment that really bothered me was when I said I couldn’t afford the $300 bill that day. Instead of showing any understanding, I genuinely felt like I was being mocked. When I decided to go through with the payment she said “oh but you can’t afford it right?” At that moment I questioned whether her job was to question how much money I have or schedule the appointment? I was also in shock she said it in front of the doctor. It’s disappointing because the doctor and hygienist are the reason I’ve stayed loyal to this office for years. But the person at the front desk can completely change the experience, and she’s honestly the only reason I’ve started questioning whether I should keep making the drive. First impressions matter, and I hope management addresses it because the clinical staff deserve better representation.

Dr. R. Hogge is great! He is professional,personable, kind and considerate of any concerns that you may have. I only have good things to say about going to Leander Smiles during the past seven years. You will receive excellet care and the entire staff are the best group of professionals!

I can not say enough words to describe the feelings I have for Leander Smiles. When you walk in the door you get the nicest welcome a smile they call you by your name. I‘ve been a patient for over a year and there is no other Dentist office that I would go to. Dr. Hogge is my dentist, who I would recommend, everyone in his office are absolutely awesome. They treat you like family, take their time to visit with you. Al way have a smile on their faces and awesome personality. They are all the best.!!!

Love this office and team! They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Loren is a great hygienist and explains what he’s doing every step of the way. I’ve never been pushed to do work that isn’t needed. I’ve been a client here for 9 years and will keep coming back.
