I had a great experience at Orthodontic Avenue. The office was clean, organized, and welcoming from the moment I walked in. The front desk staff was friendly and made the check-in process quick and easy. The provider took the time to listen to my concerns, explained everything clearly, and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. I never felt rushed, and the entire team was professional, caring, and attentive. I highly recommend Orthodontic Avenue to anyone looking for quality orthopedic care.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience. Two weeks ago, I called to reschedule my braces removal appointment. The receptionist told me there was no availability except for Friday, July 3, at the Cedar Hill office, so I accepted that appointment. Today, I called to verify the appointment time because I never received a confirmation or reminder like I normally do. At that point, I was already 30 minutes into my drive and live about 45 minutes away from the Cedar Hill office. I was then told that I was never scheduled there and that they had a busy schedule and wouldn’t be able to see me. The receptionist contacted the Grand Prairie office, and instead of addressing the scheduling error, I was told I still had a remaining balance of around $153. I was already aware of that balance and have my contract, which clearly states the remaining amount would be due on the day of my braces removal. The balance was never the issue. What’s most frustrating is that I took the day off work based on the appointment I was given, only to find out there was no appointment scheduled. I also had previously been told that my treatment would require two separate appointments on the same day, so I planned my entire day around it. This experience was unprofessional and showed a lack of communication and organization. Patients arrange their work schedules, transportation, and personal time around appointments, and mistakes like this have real consequences. I hope the office improves its scheduling and communication so other patients don’t have to go through the same frustration.
