So happy I have finally established care with a dentist that knows what he is doing! Office is warm and welcoming and the parking was easy! Complimentary Fiji water.

Best dental experience I’ve ever had. I came in at 10am with an important Zoom meeting at 11am… I was out of the door at 10:50am, which included FULL x-rays and cleaning. They are very professional and kind. Not to mention, have the best music taste ever. Highly highly recommend to anyone for a dentist.

From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed by the most beautiful, clean, and modern facility—it feels more like a high-end spa than a dentist’s office. The staff is incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. Dr. Smith is truly exceptional—knowledgeable, gentle, and thorough, taking the time to explain everything and answer questions without ever feeling rushed. The level of care and attention to detail is outstanding.

Wonderful staff and very professional yet cozy experience. Kennedi an aspiring future dentist was delightful and very gentle during taking x-rays. Dr. Smith is very knowledgeable and happy to get into the weeds on any details. He likes to nerd out and teach dentistry and help mentor people like Kennedy. Best of all Dr. Oli the emotional support dog is adorable and loves to roam around and say hello to everyone. Overall amazing local experience.

We are new to Nashville and have been dealing with the biggest ice storm here in decades. In all the turmoil, I broke my front tooth crown and needed to find a dentist who would do a same day appointment. After calling at least a half dozen dentists who were closed because of the storm, I luckily got Maya at Capitol View Dentistry. Dr Matthew Smith happened to be in today catching up on office work. He agreed to see me and I got to the downtown office as quickly as I could given the ice. Dr. Smith immediately recognized what was going on, and I told him my biggest concern was the tooth having to be extracted (the crown had a root canal out of state 2 months ago), which would mean it would have to be replaced with an implant, a costly and extensive procedure. I asked a TON of questions which Dr Smith answered patiently and in plain English. Fortunately, he was able to save the underlying tooth, put in a temporary crown, and the new one will be ready in a few weeks. This appears to be a small practice, and what really sets them apart are the people. They are “real” people— friendly, not pretentious, professional, and talented. And they have technology I have never seen before that strikes me as very advantageous for a dental practice. I had no idea what to expect but a very unpleasant situation turned into a very good experience. Shout out to Kennedy too, as an integral member of the team. Being new to Nashville, I think I have found my new dentist!
