Pediatric Dental Group and Adventure Vision

My kiddo had to be sedated and the team was INCREDIBLE. Danessa was so calming when she saw I was anxious and she also came out to tell me absolutely everything that was going on. Yelena put him to sleep and kept him super comfortable and calm the whole time. Avery was so sweet, reassuring and kind to him and myself. Gaby was SO amazing in recovery. She stayed with us every second until we left. I cannot recommend this team and office enough.

When I say, I dread my children’s visits here let me explain that it’s for valid reasons that happen at 9x out of 10 appointments. Let’s start off by the poor time managing. We should not have to wait an hour from their scheduled appointment to be seen. I am a patient person as I have 3 kids, so to know that I have to set a timer for 45 minutes (giving grace) and then I start asking questions, AFTER I SIGN IN, is absolutely ridiculous. People have things to do, and not only that but having a baby with me is incredibly hard to manage extra long wait times. Secondly, the place is filthy! The floors have clearly not been cleaned in weeks. Not just even the floors, since I had an hour wait time I could not help but look around and notice that the benches in waiting area are not wiped down or sanitized after each day. There is residue all over the furniture and floors that left dirt markings all over my year olds clean clothing who I refrained to having to put down because of the grossness, but again, if you have a baby and your wait time is 45 minutes plus, you can only hold them for so long before they want to crawl and walk. So from the waiting room to the back, there was dust, spilt things, and dirt all over. I could have easily taken my finger and wiped dust that was all over that furniture that is hanging right about my children’s face (tv, the big arm stand, god knows whatever else). I was so disgusted and irritated with everything, I was 2 seconds away of just taking my kids and leaving after seeing the dust hanging above them. The only thing that stopped me and calmed me down was the assistant and her kindness. I was trying to not take my irritation out on anyone as it’s not their fault that the place is not being maintained appropriately. Do NOT GET ME WRONG, the staff is always nice. Super sweet, caring towards my children, and respectful even when my patience has been lost because of poor managing. Which let me say, is not fare them to have to deal with. It is to the point that I am going to find another pediatric facility because every time we have gone there the wait time is ridiculous, the place is filthy, and it is clear that the managers do not care about that facility. It’s awfully sad. Get a cleaning crew or better one and manage your times better!! I get things happen, but for every 6 months for the past several years and it’s the same ordeal tells me it’s not just a fluke, this happens daily.

I recently visited to get a routine checkup right? I wanted to leave a quick note about the service. I was already having a bit of a stressful day prior to the visit but Vanessa was incredibly helpful throughout my visit. She handled everything pretty well, communicated clearly, and made the whole visit worth it. She had a genuinely positive attitude. It was noticeable how well she managed things, even gave me quick and useful tips to help keep my teeth clean. I left feeling like everything had been taken care of properly. Overall, great job. 100% would definitely return.

Dental hygienists and dentists are great! My only issues were the long wait, it felt sort of like a cattle call. Also the lobby was VERY dirty. The floor, windows, etc. The actual dental office is clean and welcoming but I would recommend a deep clean. My daughter had a morning appointment and it was clear that this was days and days worth of dirt. Despite the initial appearance, we will be back.

I was not expecting much to be honest, however, I was extremely impressed with the care at Pediatric Dental. My daughter had traumatic experiences at other pediatric dental offices, but here everything was wonderful — she actually enjoyed her treatment, and I could not believe it! Special thanks to Brenda and Dr. Mak for making both my daughter and me feel calm, safe, and well cared for. They were incredibly gentle and the treatment took much less time than expected. We will definitely be back, and I highly recommend this place.
