First off I don’t like how the assistants do all the work for the Dr all the doctor does is literally make the appointments and then when I pull my wires out they were rude and said I had to pay 50 dollars every time I broke a bracket which is pure bs and they charge if I miss a appointment I’m find a another orthodontist

I am deeply frustrated with my experience at Gem City Orthodontist. From the start, one of the staff made a hurtful comment to my child that made her feel like a freak of nature—something no child should ever hear. Now, over a year into her braces treatment, we see absolutely no progress. When we inquired about this lack of change, we were met with derogatory remarks that left both my daughter and me feeling belittled and insecure. It’s disheartening to see the two front teeth that were once straight becoming crooked. As a concerned mother and professional, I urge other parents to carefully follow their child’s treatment plan with this office. This journey is difficult enough without added pain and frustration. I am actively seeking a new orthodontist who will treat us with the respect and care we deserve. NO STAR IS DESERVED, but I have to pick 1 to make a post.

Dr. Khan and his staff have been amazing! Always pleasant and patient. I had taken my son to a cpl different consultations and all said they could straighten his teeth without extracting any. What a mom wants to hear right??? No. His mouth was so crowded that come to find out if they had been done that way he more than likely would have had major graphing issues later in life. Dr. Khan suggested removing 4 teeth. Which we did and was the best decision ever! We appreciate him and his staff for being straight forward(no pun intended lol) with us and not just saying what we wanted to hear but what was best for him!!

Dr. Kahn is an absolutely amazing practitioner and true gem to the Dayton community. He has a long and experienced history of practice in orthodontics, and a true passion to serve and help his community. An absolute expert in his field who is simply looking to practice his craft. He is a very flexible and caring person who genuinely cares more about patient well-being and happiness then wealth or prestige. Instead of investing in the most glamorous office or appearance, he works with just what is needed to provide excellent care. He instead chooses to invest in his staff and pass on savings to provide affordable prices for his patients. Anyone who has the opportunity to be a patient with him is quite lucky! Would highly recommend.

They are super to work with. They have the best plan I could find to get braces for my child. Only a small fee upfront ( $300.00 if I remember right), $100.00 a monthly minimum, or you can pay as much as you like. Until the balance is paid in full.
