The Dental Hub of Bexley

Dental hub of Bexley is awesome. The whole staff is very nice, the imaging technology is up to date and they make sure to show you every step of what they’re doing. They even showed me 2 different bills for an upcoming service so that I’m prepared and know what to expect either way. Thankfully, I had the lower of the two options, but it was important to have that transparency. Dr. Z is warm, kind, and clearly passionate about his work for the right reasons. I can’t remember all of the hygienists and assistants’ names, but they are all very friendly, kind, and careful, great at their jobs as well. It is rare to find a dental practice that you feel comfortable with and that you can really trust isn’t just trying to sell unnecessary services to you. My teeth look the best they have in years! I also came back in and was told I had an unexpected new charge from the last visit due to an insurance issue. The office manager Julie (?) actually reached out to my insurance on my behalf so that they could figure out why I got this new charge. She used that information to inform any costs for potential future visits as well. No one else would ever go to this extra effort for patients! Thank you dental hub of bexley!

Unfortunately I have to give a star My experience with The Dental Hub in Bexley was extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend this office. I came in with an inflamed mouth and severe throbbing pain. The provider, Kyle Zumselde, was unprofessional and lacked empathy and compassion. While I was waiting, I received an urgent phone call regarding my daughter whose car would not start. Kyle walked out of the room. When he returned, I apologized and explained the situation. He shook my hand and began explaining that my tooth needed to be extracted and that I would need antibiotics. As he was speaking, I briefly used my phone to arrange help for my daughter. He abruptly stated that he was done and walked out. I followed him to express that I felt his behavior was unprofessional. He responded by saying that I was unprofessional for not listening to him. I explained that I was in pain, handling an emergency, and capable of multitasking. He stated that other patients do not behave that way, to which I replied that I am a single parent dealing with real-life situations. I was later told by Julia that he had the right to refuse care. Called back to asked for the name of Kyle she asked if I was Dominique I replied yes then asked me why I told her I I was ready to do my Google review she complied and I said thank you and she hung up. I called back and told Julia I said to have a great then ended the call. Overall, the entire experience was unpleasant, dismissive, and lacked basic patient-centered care. I understand now why they are accepting new patients and had same day appointments available.

I had a great first experience at The Dental Hub of Bexley! Only a few minutes from home, the staff were welcoming upon my arrival and helpful in getting me checked in promptly! My dental hygienist was very knowledgeable and efficient and Dr. Z was very helpful in explaining the next steps in my dental care. The office was very clean and calming and I am grateful to how found a great new dentist!

Had my first appointment recently. Alisha the hygienist was amazing. She was so gentle while cleaning my teeth. Dr. Zumfelde really made me feel comfortable even though I have never liked going to the dentist. I’m actually looking forward to my next visit.

Love the customer service at The Dental Hub of Bexley. Super responsive, flexible and overall genuinely pleasant, whether in person or over the phone. Big shout out to Dr. Zumfelde for understanding that emergencies happen, applying flexibikity into his calendar and realizing no one wants to walk around without a tooth; to Shelby and Super Josh for their superb front desk service; Alisha for her gentle dental practices and gracious personality; and finallly Julia for, what many see as unachievable, mastering the many hurdles and complexities of Tricare Insurance!!!
