Hudec Dental

I have been going to this dental practice for years and have had so many issues. I loved the idea of staying in the neighborhood and not having to go to the suburbs for appointments, but I have finally ended up switching providers. I have had multiple cleaning appointments (booked 6 months in advance) canceled last minute (a day or two before) without explanation and rescheduled for more than a month later. I was most recently told that they were using temps and did not have any hygienists on staff, which is why they were dealing with so many scheduling problems -- but I've been having the same recurring issue for years. When my appointments were not inexplicably canceled, I always showed up early and often had the first appointment of the day to ensure I could get to work on time. Still, I would find myself waiting sometimes more than an hour to be seen. Sometimes I was told the receptionist did not show up, meaning a hygienist would be pulling double duty, but more often than not, I was not exactly sure what was happening. I've had some really great and kind hygienists, but it's not been consistent (perhaps because of the temp situation). I really liked the dentist herself and she has always been great to work with. Unfortunately, the scheduling and staffing problems have been so consistently inconsistent for years that I need to go elsewhere.

Waited 6 months for an appointment just for it to be canceled with no options to reschedule for the foreseeable future. I was given instructions to call back and check for cancellations to be seen. Extremely unprofessional.

I have been to Hudec Dental three times, everything was/is great! My dentist is marvelous and so is each and every person working there. I highly recommend Hudec at Lutheran! I love my dentist can't say enough. And, a shout out to Lindsey, great lady!
