Would have been nice to be notified of the move. My appointment was at 4, I called because I was running late but knew I would make it within the grace period today. When I arrived at 4:06 I noticed the office was dark, I called again and spoke with an associate and asked when they had moved. She told me a few months ago. I did not remember recieving anything regarding a move so I asked if she thought I could still make my appointment because I was unaware of the move, she said I don't know i didn't work here before the move with a little attitude then told me she would have to reschedule. If youre going to move your location you should have informed your patients who have been your patients for years. And also answer the phone so it doesn't just ring and ring when someone calls. Changing your greeting when someone calls your office would help as well.

My family and I have been using UDA for a few years now and we will not be going back. They absolutely will take advantage of you if the chance arises. My 18 year old went back on her own because she was 18 and didn't need me back there with her turns out she did need me. I scheduled an appointment back in May for her to get a fill in done, which was not an emergency just something that needed to be done, they failed to tell me that my insurance wouldn't cover it because I used the amount given for the year. So before we get there I tell my daughter that it would cost about 80.00 and gave her my card to pay for it while I waited outside for her. When she goes back they tell her that insurance wouldn't cover it but never explained the amount it would be without insurance and my daughter not understanding the difference insurance makes told them that her mom (me) gave her a card to pay so they could go ahead and do the fill in. They could have advised her to talk to me first or at least explain the difference insurance makes but they didn't they were just trying to get her done and someone else in the seat. My daughter said she was expecting to pay 80.00 but when she went to pay they told her it was 375.00. they never tried to help her or explain the difference insurance makes just wanted the money. While they didn't do anything illegal, morally they failed. We used this dentist a lot and before when I was in the room with my daughter and insurance ran out we rescheduled for when we did have coverage because who can afford that, so that dentist absolutely should have known I would not have done it without insurance because I didn't do it last time. It was not an emergency and definitely could have waited but instead of giving guidance to an inexperienced 18 year old they took advantage of the situation and took her money. They make appointments with out checking for coverage first and that doesn't make sense because if we don't have coverage then we can't do the procedure. Seems like a money scam. Just know when you go to this dentist they don't see you as human only a $$$.

Dr. Lewis is a great dentist. I’ve been seeing her for years. She is a caring professional that takes the time to talk to you about any dental issues you might have. Sam is my dental hygienist. She does a thorough job cleaning my teeth. Sam is a competent professional. I have no complaints with this practice.

Very pleased with the thorough examination by my new dentist - Dr. Lewis - as well as the level of service from the dental assistant Trish and front office staff. I'm happy to have a found such an experienced dentist that accepts my new dental insurance.

Enter Atrium Health from the Miller St., upper level deck entrance. UDA is up the staircase and at the end of the hall on the left. Friendly, courteous, patient staff. Made sure we understood everything about upcoming procedure. Highly recommend.
