H20 will always be my favorite! My brothers and I had treatment when we were younger. I however didn’t wear my retainer the way I was suppose to so I came back for another treatment! They are the sweetest people and treat you like family.

I first saw Dr. Handy in 2019, so this is a tad late, but I completed my Invisalign treatment with him between 2019-2020, changing my underbite to the smile I’ve always wanted. Nothing but class, respect, and compassion from the staff and Dr. Handy himself. I continue to reach out to them for retainer related orders and inquiries, and they continue to treat me with that new patient love. Great folks.

I can’t say enough great things about Handy & Handy Orthodontics! I first got braces with them back in 2011, and my smile was perfect. But like a lot of people, I got a little too relaxed about wearing my retainer, and by 2023, my teeth had shifted enough that I wanted to fix it. This time around, I went straight into a 10-week Invisalign treatment, and I was honestly blown away by how fast and effective it was. In just a couple of months, my smile was back to where it needed to be—just as good as the first time! One of the biggest differences in my treatment was a rare lower lateral incisor extraction, something most orthodontists wouldn’t even consider. But Dr. Handy saw the bigger picture, and that one decision gave me a fuller, more natural-looking smile. The best part? I get compliments from complete strangers all the time—people ask me where I got my orthodontic work done! On top of the amazing results, the experience itself was just as great. The staff is incredible—always friendly, professional, and making sure you’re comfortable every step of the way. Whether it’s your first time getting treatment or you’re coming back for a touch-up like I did, they truly go above and beyond. If you need an orthodontist in Winston-Salem, this is the place to go. They’ve given me an amazing smile twice now, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else!

We are hosting a student from Germany for the year and her permanent retainer came unattached. Dr Handy saw her quickly, reattached the retainer and charged her minimally. He saw her again for another simple fix and did not charge her at all! By comparison, we just spent two years with Tucker Orthodontics for our own child’s braces but they would only see our student as a “new patient” which required a visit with x-rays, etc for $600! This was a very simple fix that took Dr. Handy 15 minutes and she did not need to be a “new patient”. A third practice wouldn’t even see her, stating they don’t work on orthodontics that they didn’t start - even though her orthodontist is in Germany! I wish we gone to H2O for our own child. A reasonable, helpful, friendly practice!

What a delightful group of staff and physicians! This practice has been around for a long time and I see why! Very efficient patient management while still providing great orthodontic care. Rebecca, Amanda and Eileen are very knowledgeable, kind and made me feel like I was the most important patient at the time. Great job, H2O! Looking forward to my treatment.
