Aaliyah was absolutely amazing! She made getting my braces put on such an easy and comfortable experience. She explained everything clearly, was incredibly patient, and made me feel at ease from start to finish. Her positive attitude and gentle care made what I thought would be a stressful appointment so much better. I'm so thankful for her and highly recommend asking for Aaliyah if you have the chance!

I had a great experience at Carolina Braces today! Aliyah was amazing from start to finish. I got checked in, sat down for maybe two minutes, and she was already coming to get me. I was very indecisive about what color I wanted for my braces, but Aliyah took the time to help me choose. In the end, I absolutely LOVE the color we picked, so thank you, Ms. Aliyah! The doctor and Aliyah both made me feel comfortable asking questions and sharing my preferences. They listened to what I wanted while also educating me on what would be best for my treatment. They truly made me feel heard and involved in the process. One thing I always look forward to is flossing during my visits, and Aliyah was so patient with me. She let me take my time and never made me feel rushed, even though I know they have many patients to see throughout the day. It was my 2nd round of wearing braces and both times I chose to go through this process with Dr. Kent and his team. Dr. Kent gave me a beautiful smile 9 years ago that lasted for many years until I made a mistake of wearing a retainer that I accidentally banded. I’m really glad that Dr. Kent and his team continue helping their patients like myself to achieve the smile that makes them proud and gives great sense of confidence. Dr. Kent has a fantastic team, both at the front and in the back of the office. Lacey (apologies if I misspelled the name) took charge during my first appointment when my braces were put on. She took time making me feel comfortable and made a great suggestion for the color of the bands (pearl) that I kept on wearing throughout my journey this time. Emily went above and beyond to ensure that all of the final appointments right before my wedding were scheduled to accommodate my busy schedule. Jose played a very important role in helping me to create a step by step plan of all upcoming final treatments starting from removing my braces to the building a final permanent retainer. My case was a complex one because we had to add dental work in addition to the orthodontic care, and Jose wrote down everything for me and talked to me about every step to ensure that everything was taken into consideration. He also removed my braces and used a technique that really helped to minimize discomfort for my teeth. Dr. Kent is caring, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. To ensure that my permanent retainer doesn’t interfere with the upcoming dental work, he offered to do a temporary retainer first and build a final permanent retainer after my dental appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Kent and his practice for everyone looking not only for a bright smile but for a confidence boost ahead!
