I liked the office and the staff; & was happy that they do still take covid precautions if asked. The dentist seemed knowledgeable & nice. I have an abscessed tooth, & need it removed. I also have a complex medical history; which I made clear prior to booking the appointment. I’d thought the dentist had agreed to remove my tooth under sedation, since the appointment was booked. Five minutes after I left, I got a call saying the appointment was canceled. I essentially paid $192 for nothing. Still in pain, still risking serious issues going on six weeks. I’m left upset and disappointed. Essentially, what would take a week tops to mitigate in NYC, has taken over six here, with no resolution. Additionally, it seems that once the dentist has made a decision to cancel treatment, and one leaves a message to ask for clarification; the call is ignored. As a person with chronic illness, I wouldn’t recommend this practice. I think that the value isn’t on patient care, but on money. In response to the answer given on this review, I stand by what I wrote. I did call at 5pm on Friday intending to leave a message asking to speak w/the dentist as the oral surgeon I was referred to was booked out a month, & I am in pain. I was told to call other oral surgeons, or find emergency care. It’s not like they spent more than 5 minutes on the phone, or that the service was bothered. So, I find that statement irrelevant at best. It’s a bit like trying to gaslight someone. Were I not honest about my health upfront when making the appointment, & the reason for the appointment, I’d understand the outcome. The reason my BP was elevated was because I had not eaten in hours, because I had no idea what was going to happen at the appointment give my abscess; and I was nervous as I have had terrible dental care in the Lake Norman area. It went back to my baseline within an hour, which I left a message about after all this went down. It just proves to me that I need to leave the area & head back north where my complex health issues are managed much better, and I am not overcharged for basic services.

Davidson Cosmetic & Family Dentistry has served as my primary dentist for my entire life. Overall, I believe their services are superb. Dr. Wilhite is a truly kind, genuine and knowledgable individual. In the past, I underwent surgery in which 3 wisdom teeth were extracted. I felt no pain during the surgery. I would recommend their services to anyone.

They know their field and offer the most advanced services available. The office is warm and inviting; it's truly a different kind of dentistry practice. Dr. Wilhite and everyone have gone far above and beyond in caring for our family. We will never forget their kindness.

Dr. Wilhite and his staff have always Provided me with the most pleasant dental experience you could imagine. I have to commend him and his staff on their caring attitudes and professionalism. Going to the Dentist ,believe it or not, is a pleasant experience. I highly recommend them.
