I can not recommend Cooney & Tyner Orthodontics enough. They helped me through a very long and stressful process. I needed double jaw surgery because of an underbite and Invisalign was a large part of the surgical prep and post op recovery. They set me up with an incredible surgeon and were there for support through the whole process. The staff is knowledgeable, efficient and all around caring which was the biggest take away. Both Dr. Cooney and Dr. Tyner made me feel comfortable and confident while undergoing treatment. The rest of the team always had a smile on and the atmosphere was very positive. I am now finally through the process and couldn’t be happier! If you are looking for an orthodontist that cares and treats you with respect search no further. This practice is incredible and I highly recommend them to anyone! Thank you Dr. Cooney, Dr. Tyner and staff!!

I started Invisalign with Cooney & Tyner at their Troy location in February of 2023 and just completed my final appointment. It was the best investment I ever made. I feel so confident, my results couldn’t be better and the process truly was seamless. Everyone on the team is so kind and positive. Whether I had questions about my aligners or needed to change my appointment last minute, they were so easy to communicate with. Dr Tyner was a joy to work with, he was knowledgeable, and transparent about the process from start to finish. It’s evident him and his team value each patient and their experience. If you’re considering it - this is your sign! Highly recommend.

The service and care I received from Cooney & Tyner Orthodontics has always been top notch. The doctors and their team always go above and beyond, no matter the scenario. Not only did I have orthodontics, but I also required orthognathic surgery and was referred to a surgeon, by Dr. Cooney, who was also amazing, along with his staff. Dr. Cooney and the surgeon coordinated my care together, every step of the way, and everything went flawlessly. The office is conviently located in Troy. Even easy to get to from Albany. It is a very nice and clean office with a gorgeous view of the river. The staff were all friendly, polite, and knowledgeable. We were instantly greeted and did not have to wait longer than 10 mins. They quickly put my son at ease through every step. The office uses the lastest technology, so there wasn't the horrible teeth impressions process. It was a quick digital imaging. Very cool to see and easier on the kids. We met with Dr Cooney. He has very nice, quick, and wonderful with my son. He made us very comfortable with the process, what needed to be done, and explained very well all the next steps. We are looking forward to working with the staff at Cooney & Tyner.

Had my initial appointment with Dr. Cooney today at the Troy office. I was instantly welcomed by Jennifer & the staff to their beautiful state of the art office overlooking the mighty Hudson River. Jill was so knowledgeable with performing scans needed for Dr. Cooney to assess my orthodontic care. Not only did she explain everything as she performed the scans, but she was so sweet & kind throughout the process. Dr. Cooney does a very thorough exam of your teeth & gums with you after assessing your scans & immediately can give you a plan for your specific orthodontic needs. He covers everything you may need going forward giving you options available for your particular situation. All was done very efficiently & explained very well. I left their office so knowledgeable & confident I found the best orthodontist to help me with my teeth. I highly recommend anyone looking for orthodontic care to make Dr. Cooney & Dr. Tyner your first stop. You will not need to go any further. You’ve found the best!!!
