The Dr and staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything was explained to me before it was done to calm my anxiety. The procedure was very thorough and it was a comfort knowing that my team was confident and experienced.

I saw Dr. Hill and Associates twice, and after my treatment my mouth has been left feeling distorted. During the procedure, my head was turned to the right while the assistant pulled my face and lips forcefully to the left. The amount of pressure used was extremely painful, and I believe it caused lasting problems. I now feel I need to see an oral and maxillofacial specialist to evaluate the damage. When I reported that my lips had been badly torn during the procedure, Miranda, the office manager, suggested that I use Vaseline. Unfortunately, that was not the issue. Before my appointment, my lips were already well protected with Vitamin E oil, shea butter, and other moisturizing oils, yet they were still injured during the procedure. By the time of my second visit, I was honestly terrified to return because of what had happened during the first appointment. Instead of feeling reassured, I was met with Dr. Hill raising his voice and telling me, “It’s been too much.” I was confused because the office had just called me on Friday, the weekend had passed, and I came in on Monday as instructed. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. I expected compassionate care and concern for my injuries, but instead I left feeling dismissed and distressed. If you believe your bite, facial movement, speech, or mouth shape has actually changed after the procedure, it’s a good idea to have an evaluation by an oral and maxillofacial surgeon or another dentist who is independent of that practice. Ask them to document their findings, as that can help determine whether there was an injury and what treatment, if any, is needed.
