North Tonawanda Family Dentistry

Our family has been patients of this dental practice for many years. Between my husband, myself, and our three children, we’ve trusted this office with our dental care for a long time. I want to be clear that the dentists, hygienists, and office staff have always been wonderful. In fact, I’ve referred many friends and family members to this practice over the years because we’ve always had positive experiences with the staff and the care we’ve received. Our disappointment is not with them, but with management and the way a recent situation was handled. When the office called to remind us about upcoming appointments for my son and me, there was no mention that my husband’s appointment had been canceled. When I called to ask about his appointment, I was told that management had implemented a policy stating that patients who have missed appointments can no longer be seen by the practice. While a practice certainly has the right to establish its own policies, what was upsetting was the complete lack of communication. We received no phone call, no letter, no email, and my husband was never notified that he was no longer considered a patient or that his appointment had been canceled. I believe the missed appointments being referenced were from years ago (possibly during the COVID period), and my husband has successfully attended multiple cleanings and routine appointments since then without any issue. To suddenly learn that he had been dismissed as a patient, without any notification whatsoever, felt extremely unprofessional. Unfortunately, because of how this was handled, our entire family has decided to seek dental care elsewhere. One communication from management could have avoided losing five longtime patients. It is also disappointing that after years of loyalty and numerous referrals to the practice, this is how the situation was addressed. As a result, I will no longer feel comfortable recommending this office to others. Again, this review is not a reflection of the excellent office staff or dental professionals, but rather a reflection of poor communication and patient management.

New owner sucks!! Not happy with at all! I've been going to them for over 10 years! Now I need to find myself and my son a new dentist. ALL BECAUSE I missed an appointment 2 years ago! NOW -I can no longer make an appointment!!!?!? - Only be on a cancelation call list?!? Im sorry but that does not work for me! I have 4 kids & work 2 jobs I need to be able to make regular appointments. Last minute barley ever works for me! Also unbegonist to me they no longer take people under 18... so now my son needs a new dentist too! This new policy negatively affects many people and your going to drive away all of your loyal patients!!!

Had a wonderful first visit! They were extremely thorough with X-rays, measurements and routine cleaning but what really sets them apart is the care they have for their patients. I can’t tell you the last time I went to a medical establishment and they took the time to explain the care they were giving and answer all the questions I had like I received here. Will be recommending this practice to everyone I know!

My son had appointment scheduled for tomorrow. They usually send 100 confirmation texts. I didn’t receive any so I called. They said they’re no longer seeing children under 18 since Jan. With no notice. My son & daughter have both been seen since Jan. Last appointment was in May. Receptionist has a horrible attitude. I think it’s horrible they would’ve had me waste my time driving there for no reason if I didn’t call the day before. Like the people who pay them aren’t good enough to get a notice. Or the receptionist is so lazy she didn’t do her work & send them out. There are tons of bad reviews about the receptionist. They need to get rid of her.

Had been coming here for a few years but this past year they canceled my appointment and couldn't reschedule for another 6 months out. Then they sent a text saying they had to cancel that appointment because they were closing on Fridays. No call or offer to reschedule. Haven't been able to reach anyone on the phone as they don't answer and it says their voicemail box is full and then it just hangs up on you.
