I went for my 6 month cleaning and as ALWAYS, Jessica the dental hygienist was amazing! So detailed and careful, gentle hands, my teeth come out pearly! Then Dr Paek always caring for how I feel and attentive to the condition of my teeth. He’s the best! Can’t leave out my girls at the front desk, they rock! Love their reception, always smiling and professional. Great team! Love this place

Booked a consultation for veneers and made it very clear to the staff member answering the phone that I would not be paying more than $1,300 because I was quoted that range elsewhere. Staff member proceeds to not flag any issues with that and says pricing will depend. I go to the consultation with the doctor (who was great) and afterwards, I was given a price WELL over my expressed range. There was no price transparency and even if they weren’t comfortable giving a price because it varies (which, I understand), the staff member could have clearly communicated that my expressed range was NOWHERE near their clear starting range. Super disappointed and the best they “did” for me is 15% discount. Price range transparency is clearly called for here.

I absolutely love Jersey City Dental! Dr. Paek and the entire team are amazing—from the wonderful office manager Karla, to the friendly treatment coordinator Sandee, and the hygienist Nicole who did my whitening. Everyone made me feel comfortable and cared for. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for exceptional dental care!

Would rate zero stars if possible. The front desk confirmed my cleaning appointment but failed to add it to their system. Rather than being upfront, I was asked to wait ~40 minutes under the pretense of “accommodating” me, without disclosing that a cleaning would not be possible. I only learned this because I asked the X-ray tech myself. This should have been communicated upfront instead of misleading me into waiting. The front desk was disorganized and unapologetic. I came because of the good reviews, but I won’t be returning due to poor management and an unprofessional attitude.

Jersey City Dental has been my dental office for over the past decade and I’ve only had positive experiences in that time. I have poor dental genetics to begin with and coupled with my own inconsistent dental hygiene in the past, I’ve had some fairly extensive work in that time. From fillings, root canals, and crowns - I’ve had them done here! In recent years, some equipment and technology improvements have made it faster and easier to schedule and confirm appointments, and crowns can now be made in office instead of having to wait several weeks for them to be made at a separate lab. The team have consistently been great, however, from the front desk, to the hygienists, to the dentists. They’re all incredibly kind and helpful, and make sure to run through details of billing and insurance before a procedure. My cleanings have all gone smoothly as they’re careful about minimizing pain and bleeding, and recommend solutions for both short and long term care. Dr. Paek and all the other dentists I’ve encountered are also incredibly patient and thorough, and make sure to explain both before and after any procedures what they’re doing and answer any questions I’ve had. I recently had a cracked crown and filling that I scheduled last minute the night before, and both were taken care of immediately the following day; despite the extensive work needed, the team were able to ensure it was taken care of quickly and comprehensively. Very much a recommended place for anyone looking for a dental practice!
