I called right when they opened and they were able to schedule me for an emergency visit within a half hr. Upfront about cost and care needs and very kind ladies that helped me from the front desk to when I was getting my xray and dental care. Their waiting room was clean and spacious. Most importantly I felt very comfortable and kindly treated and as someone who has a lot of dental trauma and anxiety that really means a lot. Dr. Thind and staff was great 🙏🏼

I had such a great experience at this dental clinic! From the moment I walked in, the environment felt so clean, fresh, and welcoming. The staff is incredibly sweet! Kirth helped me out so much. I got a treatment plan & x-rays all within my first visit! I did spend some time waiting so if you’re in a rush know like most doctors & dental offices there are no shortcuts! But I think the fact that busy reflects how many people trust the services. Excited to come back & get a smile I’m proud of :)

I went and they told me I needed a root canal but had to treat the infection before they could finish it. I suggested just pulling them but they gave me antibiotics that didn’t work so they had to give me stronger ones after seeing me on my 2nd visit. 3rd visit (different doctor) was told my canals aren’t opening up and had to give me more medication to help open them to be able to finish the root canal. One tooth they could possibly do the other one had too much calcification and would require an oral surgeon to remove due to my curved roots. If my other tooth couldn’t be completed they would pull it. Came to my 4th appointment and and after a 90 minute wait they start to work on me then say it’s not looking good we can remove the tooth if you prefer….. I said I will go elsewhere to have them both removed at the same time and asked for a refund they said we have an oral surgeon at Columbia Dental and we will apply your payment for the root canals towards the extractions. They fit me in the same day and when I went there they extracted both teeth (with lots of effort due to my anatomy). I will never go to Academy Dental again not even for my follow up. They charged my insurance for 2 root canals that never were completed and weren’t honest from the door. If they saw the xray on my first visit and saw they weren’t gonna be able to reach my canals due to the curved roots why “attempt”.
