Front desk does not verify insurance before patient arrives, we’ve spent the past 2 years changing insurances to make sure they were in network, between calling the front desk and checking insurance directories, appointments were made and I still had the experience of showing up today and them not accepting what we had. Looking for a new provider for a family of 4, if anyone has recommendations.

Went for a root canal. I went the second time, felt pressure let's try to finish up. I explained it hurts. I tried it and it was worse than labor pain. My face is swollen. I was placed on a antibiotic but informed by my specialist that taking a certain medication for my Lupus, the antibiotics would not treat the infection. I needed to go back on. They wanted me to call primary. What for? They didn't cause the pain. My primary had nothing to do with it. I waited on hold , spoke to someone. I will call you back, if there is a problem for the dentist calling in antibiotics. Well that was days ago. Thank you!!!! For caring, not! Calling back, didn't! Really concerned, wasn't! Made it worse!!! I thank God for the experience and removing me from not coming back. God bless! Don't call me because you seen the review.Asking do I want to come in. Lol Seriously, tone deaf. Don't call when you are supposed too. Don't call about the antibiotics. But come in . God help.

My experience has been great, front desk staff are great. It’s been 8 months since my braces were placed and I’ve seen a tremendous improvement. Dr and staff i has been very great. Overall my visits have been great.

Academy dental has been great to my family and I for the past 5+ years. I couldn’t be any happier with the results I received from getting braces in my adult years.The entire staff is warm and welcoming. I will be returning to Academy Dental for many years to come.
