I’m so happy that Dr. Kat opened Smile Studio here in South Reno! The location is perfect, the clinic is beautiful, and the whole atmosphere feels welcoming the moment you walk in. My son is currently receiving orthodontic care here, and we’ve had an amazing experience. Dr. Kat is incredibly gentle, knowledgeable, and patient with kids—she explains everything clearly and makes sure they feel comfortable. The staff is truly wonderful too. Angela and Alli are so friendly, kind, and professional. They make my Son's first visit smooth and stress-free, and my son actually looks forward to coming in, which says a lot! Highly recommend Smile Studio to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring orthodontic team for their child. Such a great addition to the South Reno community!

Such an amazing experience! Angela and Dr. Kat were both so kind, professional, and reassuring. They made me feel completely comfortable from start to finish. The office is also absolutely beautiful — so aesthetically pleasing with an incredible view. Highly recommend!

If you’re looking for an orthodontist who truly cares, The Smile Studio Orthodontics in Reno is it! My allergic teen usually struggles in new environments, but their staff handled everything with so much care and attention. Everyone was friendly, gentle, and so professional — truly a 10/10 experience. The office is super clean and calming, and Dr. Kat Fung is amazing — gentle, kind, and so patient. Dr. Philip & Dr. Kat make the most exceptional orthodontic team. I have been under their care for a few years now and can't recommend this office enough. From the first initial meeting, both practitioners were nothing but kind, attentive, professional, approachable and genuine every single appointment. I started treatment at age 26 (and I was really nervous how braces/retainers could impact my professional career). At the beginning of treatment, I was presented with a plan to remove a lower tooth to help with crowding. When I voiced my concerns with the plan due to aesthetics & comfort, they listened, dove into alternatives, researched and adjusted the ortho plan of care to meet my sensory needs. The entire time I was under their care, they went above and beyond ensuring I met proper alignment milestones every single appointment. They consistently remembered personal details about my life even though I wouldn't see them for months at a time in between treatments. Over and over again following many scheduling/travel obstacles, they treated me incredibly kindly and worked with me to make treatment happen. It is without a doubt that these two incredible individuals take their patients, their work, their skill-sets and their impact seriously, intentionally and authentically, inside and outside of their clinical space. Dr. Philip, Dr. Kat & their little one feel like family now. I can't recommend them enough! If you are looking for an orthodontist in Reno, look no further. :)
