Williamsburg Dental Stockwell

I can’t say enough positive things about Williamsburg Dental (Stockwell). I’ve been to multiple dental offices in the past, and I’ve always struggled with pain and anxiety…so much so that I’d avoided making appointments unless it was absolutely necessary. I recently chipped one of my back molars (a fairly significant chip), and found this office searching online. Dr. Rose and her team were patient, kind, and genuinely understanding. They noticed my anxiety fairly quickly, they took the time to explain what they were doing as they did it and what I should expect, and listened to me when I shared I wasn’t sure I was numb enough and were patient in providing me with more numbing agent to ensure I was comfortable. One of the most reassuring moments was having her therapy dog Frankie lay on my lap while I was having the work done. It made a huge difference in my comfort level, more than I even expected it would! This has truly been the best dental experience I have ever had and the very first time I have experienced no pain during the work and I want to add I am very happy with the end result, it honestly feels like it was never damaged. I have had the best experience at this dentist practice! Everyone is extremely kind and helpful. All the treatment has been transparent on cost and I feel like everyone truly cares. I have always had bad experiences at dentists, so I'm so happy to have this experience!

BEWARE this dentist office tries charging you more than they're supposed to. I went in to the dentist on March 11 my teeth was bothering me from something I bit into. Jacob told me it would be around $100 for the exam then it is submitted to your insurance and might be less. I received a benefit statement in the mail telling me I owe Williamsburg $56 for the visit. Williamsburg sent me a bill saying I owed $103. I called the insurance they said Williamsburg has a contract with connection dental and the fee schedule applies. I called Williamsburg and spoke with Karen and asked her to call the insurance they will explain everything to you. She never did, I ended up asking 6 times for her to call and she still never did. Karen told me my insurance does not get to decide what I am charged for an exam. (See photos) Diane from the insurance department was supposed to reach out to me and never did. I waited a week. A week later Karen calls me and tells me she'll just write it off. I said I went through hours of back and forth for what? This dentist office tried ripping me off and I'm sure they do it to a lot of other people. Pretty sad when it would've just took one phone call on their side. Wasted hours of my time to get charged the right amount, thank goodness I called the insurance and didn't just pay the bill.

Dr. Rose & staff are wonderful! Dr. Rose is friendly, knowledgeable, thorough & explained everything well. I've waited a long time to find a dentist I could trust to fix issues I've had & Dr. Rose was patient & answered all of my questions/concerns. When we did encounter an unexpected issue, she addressed & resolved ASAP. I highly recommend Williamsburg Stockwell! Truly a great team & the quality of care is excellent!
