It was very easy to schedule online and I was able to fill out all paperwork before hand to make registration very smoothe and quick. At the appointment, we were greeted by Ellen who was extremely knowledgeable and professional in our consult. She, herself, could be an orthodontist! Dr. Schroeder was so good to our son. He made all of us feel very comfortable in the appointment and was very open, honest, and transparent about the treatment plan. We look forward to our braces journey with Carlson Orthodontics.

The staff made Leo feel completely comfortable right away, which meant so much to me as his mom. Carlson has been wonderful over the last few years. I’ve wanted straight teeth my entire life and finally bit the bullet in October 2023 at 33 years old. I had my braces removed today (December 4, 2025) and cried with happiness seeing myself for the first time! The staff at the Cloquet location were so supportive and shared the excitement in my transformation.

All of our children are going to Carlson for their orthodontic care and we have been satisfied with results. It took some time to get the communication down and I definitely had to advocate at times for our family. They were very flexible with appointment times and accomodating with retainer needs.
