Dixon Orthodontics - West Springfield

Very very unprofessional the Dr.Dixon! A week after my daughter got her braces, eating only soup for a whole week 5 of them fall off. Today 11/5/25 she had an appointment the assistant ask how they fall off my daughter explain she has been eating carefully, the Dr IGNORED my daughter and keep working on other patients, he came few times back and keep asking to the assistant “what was the story” that’s something happened “ very rude and with attitude. The patient next to my daughter had the same issue literally and he was giving her attitude as well. I work for a big hospital and NEVER had experience this with a Dr or staff. Zero professionalism , respect or medical ethics. I am reporting his behavior to the Medical Board. My daughter shouldn’t need to have this awful experience at a Dr office. It was so simple just to put some new brackets and charge me the money fee. He never even checked my daughter mouth just the assistant.

Choose another orthodontist. My husband and I both had braces growing up and neither of us broke a single bracket. Our kids, who we make sure follow Dixon's very strict eating policy, have brackets come loose in between nearly every check-up. Now Dixon wants to charge us for each issue, which seems like a convenient scheme built around a faulty product. Scheduling is also challenging and inconvenient.

Finding this orthodontist was a game-changer for me. After a poor experience with a previous practice that went bankrupt, I was nervous about my teeth. From my first visit, Dr. Dixon and his team made me feel at ease and assured me they’d get me on track. Seven months in, I’m thrilled with my progress and excited for future appointments. The care and support I’ve received here have been exceptional, and I’m grateful for the positive impact they've had. I highly recommend this office!

I love Dr. Dixon and all his staff. I have identical twin girls that both had braces for several years so we had many, many trips to the office and we were always very happy with the experience. And most importantly, my kids have the most beautiful teeth now. They get compliments all the time on how straight and white and perfect they are. It wasn't always easy and it wasn't quick but they are very happy now that they stuck it out for the years that they did. Dr. Dixon was very involved every step of the way and was empathic with them in the times they got frustrated with the process. I wouldn't change a thing. And I know they wouldn't either knowing now how it all worked out. Perfect smiles! Thank you Dr. Dixon and staff!

Our three boys have been seeing Dr. Dixon for several years. He and his office staff are very friendly and helpful. When it came time for our boys to get their braces and Sparks (liners), it was a smooth process. Dr. Dixon explained everything to us and the boys. Dr. Dixon is also very thorough when they go in for their appointments, explaining what to expect with the upcoming treatment. Appointments can be made by calling the office or texting them. Super convenient for those who can’t always call during the workday!
