The Braces Place at Davis Square

I never thought I would be writing a bad review about this place, especially since I used to love it and always found everyone so helpful and friendly. However, during my last appointment, I had a very disappointing experience. The doctor told me that I would either have to remove my braces or find another provider, saying he wouldn’t continue my treatment. I wasn’t wearing my elastics since my last visit because I recently had a newborn and barely have time for myself—I’m even forgetting to brush my hair some days. Without asking why, he made that comment and said he couldn’t see me, without giving me at least a warning. My feelings were deeply hurt, and I ended up crying through most of the appointment. That’s not how a “professional” should treat their patients. There was a clear lack of empathy and patient care. No one asked how I was feeling; the only question I was asked was, “Is there anything poking you?” I understand you’re not there to provide emotional support, but please at least don’t make people feel worse. They saw that I left crying, yet no one reached out afterward to check in or try to mend the situation. I noticed that he didn’t seem to be having a good day. He appeared frustrated when he couldn’t view the picture of my teeth and had to switch to another computer. For the first time, I felt a really negative vibe from him. Please, don’t assume patients are neglecting their care because they don’t want to—ask why. Train your staff to show more empathy and understanding.

I just had surgery done by Dr. Feldman and she was super nice & explained to me in detail everything she would be doing as well as good aftercare plans. I would have gave 5 stars but I think her assistants could have been a little friendlier.

The Braces places in Somerville does not a good place at all . Dorchester place sent me there to see a gum specialist , after exam the Dr said I should do deep cleaning and I accept and get approval by my insurance I only have one seance after that they keep changing the appointment saying the Dr had emergency it’s been almost a year now can they said they did something on my mouth as deep cleaning? . If they do not have Dr they should sent me back to Dorchester for the deep cleaning after the gum exam . That’s really unprofessional of them.

I am deeply impressed with the consistent attention to detail, and I consider the services rendered well worth the price paid. Convenient location, easy scheduling, attentive staff, transparency in financial matters. A high bar overall for medical care.

I just got my braces off and the results is amazing ! All the staff starting from the front desk to the assistants on the back is amazing, professional and excellent on what they do. Dr. Riz did such a wonderful job on my teeth. I’m so confident and happy with my results. Thank you so much Dr. Rizkallah and Team for my awesome result and excellent experience!!
