Toombs Orthodontics - Prairie Village

We started going here when my son was in Pre-K. His mouth was so tiny that X-rays showed his teeth were stacked in 3 rows! Dr. Toombs used a pallet expander to make room for all of his teeth to come down. It was miraculous that my son didn’t have to have a single tooth pulled. Now all of his permanent teeth and beautifully straight. Dr. Toombs is a wonderful orthodontist!

We have been so grateful to have Dr Toombs, Dr Herman and their team treat both of our children. My son had a particularly complicated treatment plan and has been going there for several years and they are always so kind and patient with him. Dr Toombs remembers all his hobbies and they connect over cars and racing. It’s such an awesome family atmosphere and we are so glad we chose this office. All the hygienist hav my entire are awesome. We saw Lori today and she was great as well! 100% recommend them if you have the need for orthodontics!

We started at another orthodontist (HH) in KC with our oldest daughter. We were not impressed for a variety of reasons. We tried Toombs with our youngest and now with the 2nd round for our oldest daughter. It was night and day improvement in communcations...Dr. Tombs explained the gameplan and answered all our questions on the program, the billing, etc. My take is that Dr. Toombs knows teeth! I have been impressed with really all aspects of our experience so far with both girls. A+. 10/10.

We first met with Mindy, who was amazing and made us feel very welcome. She was funny and interacted with my daughter the whole time making her comfortable. Dr. Toombs came in and spent quality time asking questions and giving advice with no pressure. Everyone was extremely friendly and I appreciated the open doors everywhere. My daughter loved it! Friendly staff! Highly recommend!

Dr. Toombs and everyone in the office are wonderful. Getting braces can be a nerve-racking and painful thing for a child, but Dr. Toombs makes sure everyone is comfortable and knows what to expect. He is very personable and always has a smile on his face. It's also very easy to get in contact with the office if you have any questions. I am so glad I followed my intuition and we used Dr. Toombs! I have recommended his office several times.
