Dental Arts Dr. Deb Cassill - Cedar Rapids

Five stars if you’re into chaos. Zero stars if you actually need dental care. Showed up on time for my appointment, which was adorable of me to think that mattered. Sat around forever with no explanation while the front desk perfected the art of pretending patients don’t exist. When I finally saw the dentist, the appointment felt like a speedrun. No explanations, no concern, just vibes and sharp instruments. I left with more pain than I came in with, so congrats on that achievement. The office wasn’t exactly “clean,” unless we’re using that term very loosely. And then there was billing—quoted one price, charged another. Love a surprise expense almost as much as surprise pain. Overall, this place manages to combine disorganization, indifference, and questionable hygiene into one unforgettable experience. I wouldn’t recommend this office to my worst enemy… and I really don’t like my worst enemy.

Hated going to the dentist because of past experience and just the fact that it was more traumatic not positive. Since going to Dr. Deb it's been relaxing and a great experience! I can say that the staff here makes you feel comfortable being there and help give you the best smile! Thanks Deb and staff for taking great care of my teeth and smile

This place is nothing but a money grab! They will charge you for everything. Even to email records. Do not go here. Go elsewhere and save your money.

Great service. My first visit to a dental office in the U.S, so I was a little nervous; but I was treated so well! Everything was explained as we went. Mercedes and Dr.Deb Cassill were very thorough and I felt I was in very good hands.

Totally agree that she needs to work on her bedside manner. The disagreements she has in front of me with her staff is embarrassing. I also had a huge issue with her putting the lip retractor and suction piece in my mouth. I told her I was very uncomfortable with it, and it felt like I was drowning - her response was that this was the way we clean teeth. I've had my teeth cleaned for 50 years and NEVER had a dentist do something that I wasn't comfortable with (and I have also been to Dr Deb's office and NOT had this put in my mouth, per my request). I proceeded to tell her I will not be coming back if we continue with this, and she responded with " then either come to my office more often or with less stuff on your teeth". Horrible response. I switched dentist that day. I will never be back.
