I have been a patient for more than 20 years, and even though I live two hours away, I continue to make the drive because of the exceptional care I receive. I have a very complex orthodontic case, and Dr. Bussick has worked diligently to resolve issues that other providers may have found challenging. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Bussick Orthodontics. I literally had my braces placed only two days ago, and my first follow-up isn’t even until April 9. Despite this, I was told I supposedly owe $1,745.83, even though the office also said they “voided” my full $4,200 treatment plan. This number makes absolutely no sense and does not reflect any work actually done—all I’ve had is the placement appointment. Additionally, I am in significant pain from the braces, and the office has downplayed my discomfort and failed to return my calls in a timely manner. Communication has been extremely poor, and billing has been confusing, aggressive, and misleading. I understand that orthodontic treatment can be costly, but charging someone mid-treatment for work they haven’t received is unacceptable. I hope the office improves their billing transparency and patient care.
