The staff are very kind, friendly, and professional. However, don’t expect to be seen at your scheduled appointment time. It’s common to wait up to two hours after your appointment because the office appears to overbook patients. While the quality of care is good, the scheduling and efficiency are not. If you don’t have several hours to spend at the dentist, I wouldn’t recommend this office. Unfortunately, punctuality and efficient scheduling are not their strong suit

I wouldn’t recommend this office if you value your time. Nice staff but they triple-book appointments, and the office is consistently overwhelmed. Expect to spend hours in the lobby and to be moved around like a pawn in their game of musical chairs because they lack the room capacity to handle the number of people they book. The staff is polite, but the wait times are unacceptable. I ended up losing an entire day of work/activities last Tuesday for a simple appointment. I ended up getting my purse and leaving. I will let them sort it out with my insurance company (billing that is). Avoid -Ms Debbie

Tasha, the Dental Assistant, was truly amazing! Her warm personality lifted my spirits from the moment she greeted me, and that positive energy continued throughout my entire appointment. Dr. Dilon was wonderful and performed the procedure with the utmost care, making sure I was comfortable every step of the way. And of course, Patience, the world's best and my favorite Dental Hygienist, is always a joy to talk with and consistently provides phenomenal care. Her professionalism, kindness, and genuine concern for her patients make every visit a pleasant experience.

The 4th of June was my first visit to The Family and Children’s Dentistry & Orthodontics on Farburn Road S.W., and it was a very, very beautiful experience. For many years, I have gone through so many dentistry in Atlanta. Since 2010, it's been hard to really find a dentist who really cares about the patients. This is the first dentistry in many years that I know cares about the public and the patients. I have recommended it to many of my friends and family and also people that I meet. It was such the greatest experience that I just love sharing it with everyone I meet. If anyone has had a bad experience over the years with their dentist, come and experience professional and pleasant doctors with their staff at the Family and Children’s Dentistry and Orthodontics! The staff here is TOP TIER AMAZING. The moment you walk in the door everyone is friendly, supportive and intentional. They create a safe and comfortable environment for the kids. My middle son can very dramatic to say the least with anything medical and they are sooooo patient. They do great with calming the kids. I also had the opportunity to witness how they interact with kids with autism and it was so beautiful to see such inclusion. Absolutely love it here!!!
