Ideal Dental Winter Park

This place is awesome! A little background... I had really bad experiences with dentists in the past so my dental health is awful and I was really embarrassed to let anyone see my teeth. But from the moment I walked in the staff was great, very welcoming and professional, they made me feel like they really care and were super understanding. It was just my first appointment of many to come but I can say i have finally found a place i feel comfortable. The dental assistants and the dentist himself were amazing and can't wait to get the rest of the work done, plus they have many payment options, including financing for basically anyone. I can definitely say if you are looking for a clean, relaxing, state of the art and professional dentist, this is the place. Thank you guys, see you soon!

We had a wonderful experience with Dr. Sally Zapata, she’s so great with kids!!! I brought in my two toddler boys and she did more than expected to give them a pleasant experience while doing and exceptional job. The staff was also very attentive to the boys and made us feel very welcoming. I would highly recommend!

My first visit to this new dental provider, was in the fall of 2025. I had a regular cleaning and the dentist, an older Asian gentleman, was fantastic. I had never had a dentist clean my teeth before, always a hygienist, so that was very strange and different. My next appointment in spring of 2026, the hygienist polished my teeth before the dentist even cleaned them, which is not the correct procedure in any dental office. If the new dentist was 25 I would be surprised. During this visit, I also had the extreme displeasure of listening to music sung only in Spanish, and at an elevated volume as well. It was definitely not the same great experience as my first visit. Then two months later, a filling which had been done after the fall cleaning, partially sheared off while I was flossing my teeth. I went back in for them to say it was still bonded and they would reshape the tooth. I was not impressed, and now I’m concerned about the other fillings done there, while I was their patient. I have since moved out of state, and found a private dental office. Even if I hadn’t moved, I would not have gone back to them, and I would never recommend them to anyone.

I have been to this office once before about a year ago but I see times have really changed. I had an appointment for 11:30. At 11:45, I asked the DENTIST Michael how much longer it’d be since the receptionist was not at the front desk. He says a few more mins and I said okay. As I turn around to sit down, he says, do you have somewhere you need to be? As if I have entire day to dedicate to sitting in an empty dentist office. This was an emergency appointment scheduled in the middle of a weekday. To add to injury, I scheduled for 1 and they asked me to come in at 11:30 which I said okay, I can rearrange my schedule. If you can’t fit a customer or something shifts or changes all it takes is simple communication. However the smart attitude is not necessary. I would not recommend this location let alone that dentist in my mouth.

Incompetent...I went for my appointment and I was told that it was cancelled because I didn't confirm. However I never received an email or a voice message or a text message requesting me to confirm my appointment. I went to the office and I confirmed that they did have my correct contact information which they did. The only conclusion I can come to is that they made a mistake and did not contact me and are saying they did or my phone and email decided not to work which is very unlikely. Also the staff including the Dentist told me to leave the office and take my conversation elsewhere we were done they turned around and walked away.
