This experience had a lasting impact on me, and I felt it was important to share. My treatment at this office took place several years ago, so I cannot speak to the current staff, management, or quality of care. However, I can speak about my personal experience. I was missing two teeth due to an accident and sought treatment for a dental bridge. Throughout the process, I experienced multiple delays and scheduling issues. On several occasions, I took time off work and arrived for appointments only to learn that the bridge was not available. I was later informed that the original bridge had been lost and that new impressions would need to be taken so the bridge could be remade. When the replacement bridge was finally presented, I was very unhappy with the appearance. In my opinion, it looked bulky, did not match the color of my natural teeth, and looked significantly different from the temporary bridge I had been wearing. Because I was not comfortable with the result, I declined to have it permanently cemented. The refund process was also frustrating. Despite the repeated delays, the lost bridge, and my dissatisfaction with the final product, I was initially told that I would only receive a partial refund. After being unable to resolve the matter directly with the office, I contacted the corporate office myself. Following their involvement, I was ultimately issued a full refund. Had I not escalated the matter to corporate, I do not believe I would have received a full refund. Afterward, I sought treatment from a prosthodontist and completed my dental work elsewhere. During later consultations, I was told by more than one dental professional that fewer teeth may have needed to be prepared for the bridge. Hearing this was upsetting because additional healthy teeth had already been altered as part of the original treatment. While I appreciate that corporate ultimately ensured I received a full refund, the overall experience was stressful, time-consuming, and costly. I missed work for multiple appointments, dealt with repeated delays, and ultimately had to start over with another provider. I am sharing my experience so that others can make an informed decision, ask questions, and consider obtaining a second opinion before proceeding with major dental work.
BEWARE OF OVERPRICING SCHEME AND DEEP CLEANING: I went in THE WEST PALM BEACH OFFICE for an initial visit with a dentist who came highly recommended, and I felt very comfortable with her. However, the hygienist insisted I needed a deep cleaning, which I did not agree with. When I requested a regular cleaning instead, I was told I couldn’t be seen unless I did the deep cleaning. The office manager even acknowledged my concerns but didn’t offer any alternative solution. To make matters worse, after providing a written estimate, she then verbally increased the price by $200 and only changed it back when I questioned it. Although they are in my insurance network, the whole experience felt very money-driven and pushy—like I was being overcharged unnecessarily. Overall, it came across as unprofessional, extortion and left me feeling uncomfortable as they were telling me I dont have a chose over my own body. So today I received from my insurance Explanation of Benefits, the office billed for a fluoride varnish treatment. I want to clearly state that this service was not performed on me, nor was it discussed, offered, or consented to at any time during my visit. At no point did any provider apply a fluoride varnish to my teeth, and I was not informed of such a procedure being recommended or completed. Therefore, this charge appears to be inaccurate and unauthorized. WOW i knew this office was a money hungry pit. Its a bad reflection on the dentist as I believe she might be a good person but the office staff is definetely into corruption.
I made an appointment for a cleaning and exam as a new patient. They started with X-rays and the exam and provided a treatment plan for my 95 year old mother to have a deep cleaning. They said it would have to be done in two appointments. The first being $240 and the second being $260. $500 for a deep cleaning which they said the insurance didn’t cover. I just wanted to get my Mother a regular cleaning covered by insurance and they said they could not do a regular cleaning as the exam identified a deep cleaning. I’m frustrated but not surprised as this seems to be the racket Dentists are pulling now to make more money. A patient should have the option to get a regular cleaning if they want. So you pay for insurance and they are forcing you to pay $500 for a deep cleaning out of your pocket. So, the end result is no cleaning at all for the visit which is a major inconvenience getting a 95 year old out to an appointment.
On 3/26/26, I had a Dental appointment @ Sage Dental just for a cleaning. But I also have Dental Insurance coverage. My Insurance cover for the cleaning. They charge me more money any way. They Customer Service is one of the worse that anyone could find in the City of West Palm Beach FL. The Manager, Laquita Hollan was very rude. I was mislead by the manager & so on. This is the third times that happend to me at Sage Dental. they charge me for things that I know nothing of. I would never recomend anyone to have they Dental work Done at Sage Dental.
They Never sent me my X-rays, not a good place for an emergency service. Waited for 45 min just for them to tell me wait 4 days in excruciating pain and then come back.
