Main Street Children's Dentistry and Orthodontics of Fort Myers

My daughter had the best experience ever, the assistant MARIA, I have to give her all the credits, is the best best ever. She is so kind and patient with kids. My daughter has a small mouth and she is afraid of all the procedures but at Main Street dental, she is always being respected and gets to do everything that needs to be done with no trauma. I loved every second and time spent there.

First of all, my grandson was so scared. He was crying and shaking. He had Maria for his hygienist who was the sweetest and kindest and so patient with him. She helped ease his fears and showed so much compassion for his feelings. Had it not been for her, he would have never made it through his cleaning, xrays and exam. The doctor was so nice and kind too. The place is clean and the entire staff is friendly. I bring all 3 of my grandkids there and never had a bad experience.

In time of my personal need ,my son had toothache and the staff accommodated and got my son in as soon as possible. within the next day and they took care of him, my son left that dentist appointment with no tooth pain and the dentist is excellent and the way he explained everything. Additionally, the manager is personable approachable, and will facilitate explanations and customer service. I wish they could take adults to like, me so I can continue.

I brought my granddaughter for her check up appointment. she is nervous at the dentist and has an issue laying back in the chair. the hygienist was very friendly and patient with her. Then the dentist Rose Martine Gedeon came in, she was very rude. never talked to me or her unless it was negative things about her. she definitely should not be working with children. I definitely would not recommend her.

I had a very frustrating experience at the front desk. As a new patient, I provided all the insurance information I had. The only thing needed was a simple call to the insurance company to confirm the details, but the staff member was unwilling to assist. There was a clear lack of empathy and compassion throughout the interaction. Instead of trying to help, the attitude felt dismissive and unaccommodating. I could easily gave an alternative payment option, which would have resulted in a much higher out-of-pocket cost, despite my insurance directing me to this office. As a parent trying to get care for my child, this was extremely disappointing. It should not be this difficult to receive basic assistance at the front desk. Advice to others: If you are a new patient, make sure everything is verified ahead of time. Do not expect assistance from the front desk, depending how many people they are and if they are not having side conversations while attending you, as they may not be willing to help resolve even simple issues.
