Advanced Orthodontic Care

We had a great experience here today. We were visiting from Texas when my son’s braces developed an issue and his orthodontist recommended that we find a local office to help. The team was incredibly friendly, understanding, and accommodating. They were able to fit us into their schedule much sooner than expected, got us in quickly, and resolved the problem efficiently. Everyone we interacted with was professional, welcoming, and genuinely cared about helping us. If you’re looking for an orthodontic office that provides excellent patient care and outstanding customer service, I highly recommend them. Thank you again for taking such great care of my son!

Love Dr Jeff Birg! Talented, approachable, educative. The rest, not so much. We will not be returning to this practice and cannot recommend. Administratively these people are a train wreck, From the outset we had problems with their billing department and management. Day one of our experience we were presented with payment options, 3 plans extending for 12 months and 1 plan to pay in full. I requested an option of 2 payments 1 month apart and was told that they would not accept this, either pay over 12 months or pay in full. When I inquired re the logic of this Brittany became extremely aggressive, abrasive, represented herself as the practice manager and told me to pick an option. I knew Brittany was not the practice manager as we were told earlier in the visit that she was a “financial coordinator” therefore I pressed the issue further. Why couldn’t they accommodate an expedited 2-payment arrangement? Interestingly, a patient’s father in the waiting room observed the entire interaction, approached me on the way out and expressed how inappropriate and non-service-oriented Brittany was. We found out later that the practice was between managers and the new manager was starting in a couple of weeks. On another occasion the new practice manager approached my wife in the waiting room in front of a number of patients and parents, loudly indicating we were past due on our most recent payment. Unprofessional and rude. In fact, we were not behind, our payments were auto scheduled through our bank for the same time each month. The manager later admitted that a holiday and the fact that they hadn’t checked the mail in several days were contributing factors in the payment not being posted, however no apology was offered. More recently after completing Phase 1 treatment the finance department sent my wife a text, left her a voicemail, sent an email and sent me an email all on the same day. They indicated we had skipped our last payment, this was now seriously overdue, threatened finance charges and collections. In fact, our final payment had been made 90 days earlier. We provided the finance dept a comprehensive spreadsheet showing all payments made, transaction #s, confirmation numbers, and dates cleared. Interestingly we had been in the practice 3 times AFTER our last payment was purportedly skipped and nobody mentioned this. The fact that we had to balance their books for them was ridiculous. The fact that they treated us like dirtbags from day one was upsetting, unprofessional, and certainly not conducive to maintaining a long-term patient relationship.

Dr Birg is not only professionally very knowledgeable but also very personable, making the unpleasant necessity of braces quite tolerable. He always made sure I had input on each decision as we progressed with treatment, which I really appreciated. When the braces corrected my bite problem to my satisfaction sooner than he had originally anticipated, he refunded the amount no longer necessary without hesitation. The team of technicians were also exceptional, especially Liz.

I would truly need an hour to detail how amazing the staff are in this practice. Three shout-outs in particular, in addition to praise for both doctors who have been amazing so far: --Kudos to Jennifer, the treatment coordinator, helped us with quick and accurate recommendations and predictions over perhaps the year and a half before we began treatment, guiding us on how long to wait (for baby teeth to fall out, etc)---and she is so caring and kind. --Kudos to Tammy, the office manager, who helped us negotiate our changing insurance coverage but who clearly is the glue in this practice, filling in for each and every other staff member when the need arises. --And kudos to Denzel and Desiree at the front desk; both are amazing. It is not very common to see a practice in which the front desk staff knows such intimate details of the practice, and how the practice and care works, that their advice is very clear-cut and solves the problem quickly and without delay. Amazing practice... we now have both kids in braces... keep up the good work.

Dr Birg & his team are awesome! They have been very professional, friendly & supportive as my daughter (Delainey) navigates orthodontic work & braces. Always a pleasant experience in their office & we recommend working with them!
