Dr Yamada is the best ortho!! She’s so kind compassionate and super talented!! She turned Ava’s smile into a million dollar smile. She has such a special technique, high braces close to the gums, which seemed odd at first but it was not only invisible in pictures but also produced Ava’s million dollar smile!! She and her staff are super friendly and very organized!! If you want the perfect smile, Dr Yamada and her team is the only place to go for your new smile!! Thank you Dr Yamada!!

glad i didn’t go here. they wanted to shave teeth and install posts for a pretty minor teeth realignment (i had already had braces years ago). price was good but treatment plan was extreme. i told the doctor both teeth shaving and posts were off the table and inquired about a less invasive option. they said no. i went somewhere else, spent the same on Invisalign, and have perfect results from it… much less invasive. i mostly didn’t like the doctor being so rigid and not working with me.

Got Invisalign with Dr. Yamada. She was really attentive and communicative—would recommend!

Dr. Merilynn Yamada and her staff is pretty great! This is my second orthodontic work (cuz I was one of those loosing their retainers when younger lol) and also, she did a different approach to help make space in my mouth to improve my sleep apnea. And the results were BETTER than the original time I had braces. After I had started with the treatment, I went to an ENT to work on other aspects of my airway healing journey (about my sleep apnea and breathing) and he said that the job being done in my teeth and bite correction was great and that eventually it was going to be needed. Another thing I liked about this team is that they work with Invisalign and Vivera for retainers, which is great based on the research I did. If you go to a place where they make their own retainers be skeptical, cuz is not always done well. Rescheduling appointments were a bit tricky sometimes in terms of dates available but overall I highly recommend them. I'm very happy with the experience and the results. Oh and they also celebrate you for completing the treatment and that is pretty cool :)

I came here just to get a retainer because I had braces 10+ years ago. Other orthodontists would not make me a retainer without putting me in full braces first. My teeth are perfectly straight so Dr. Yamada simply made me a new retainer without pressuring me to do any other work on my teeth. She pays attention to detail and treats you as a whole person rather than a set of teeth.
